This place somehow got worse than coc's thread on /vg/ back when it was active, and that's already saying something, nevermind the fact that most on the complaining on /vg/ was just trolling.

Never before have I seen this level of obsessive complaining coupled with curiously always being on guard for each and every new release like only the fondest of fan would ever do. That's either extreme commitment to the bit or sign of severe obsession issues, honestly can't tell anymore.

You're telling me that a decade ago some people on a different forum were discussing a different game differently? I am shooketh. Anyway, this whole post is in no way less obsessive or more worthwhile than anything else that gets regularly posted in this thread.

The Alissa content has potential. I wish there was an alternative to the hate fuck scene. I'd rather train her more methodically, also the way it's written feels too much like it's very personal for the MC to hate her guts, but a protagonist that shits on Ryn's confidence and doesn't romance her shouldn't be that invested in hating Alissa. I'd rather Alissa not be some cheap Sera transplant, let us break her into being a submissive and honest cumdump. That's all she's good for.

I think the concept is neat. But the execution didn't really stick it for me. I think it's really just the abruptness of the shifts in her personality.

Aside from that? The actual scenes are pretty alright. Admittedly they're not my cup of tea. But I didn't think they were bad

New to the phenomenon called hate watching? People were engaging in this back when trashy reality shows and (like) Jerry Springer was still on air.

I think anti-fan is the phrase they use, these days.
Basically, people can derive enjoyment from disliking something and discussing it with like minded individuals as well.

Usually I refrain. But haven't here for two reasons:
1) This isn't one of the threads monitored by the developers so none of the nonsensical drivel I type has any chance of getting in the feelings of somebody whose just doing their best.

But more importantly

2) There's 3 (really 2.5) official channels for discussion of CoC2 in a vastly more perpetually positive light with which more perpetually biased fans can chase the rainbow bathed in the glistening luminescence of perpetual self-congratulatory affirmations in perpetuity.

Substantially more fun than watching people dogpile on LT, at any rate.

I was thinking exactly this, but frankly I am completely fine with a Sera transplant because Sera is excellent and CoC2 has nothing on Sera.

But Alissa is a bit too irredeemable to be anything like that, lol.

I hope Fleep releases more content for her.

I agree with the other poster that the switch is way, way too instant and she has essentially 0 talking scenes (on purpose). Sera took time and in a somewhat believable manner to break in. Alissa takes 2 fuckings and she is your pet. Makes 0 sense.

And even then there's a whiplash because her fucking you scenes weren't changed to accomodate her new personality so she's forever reverting back and forth.

AND there is absolutely 0 acknowledging of Ryn existing lol. I'm not saying there should be a threesome but Ryn should get to see Alissa.

Oh wow, thinking about it, this could have been a nice way to start corruption path for Ryn. Persuading her into helping us punish Alissa and lot's of way you could go from there. It will obviously never happen in this game though.

Low confidence turning Etheruined into your elven cumrag is supposed to be their corruption route, and it's completely derailed and ruined by the last quest.

I think we were at the point ages ago. Almost as early as Bubs with Takahiro and Leofric. The various author pets in general, really.

While Hugs got done pretty dirty, but he clearly really did care a LOT overly Berwyn too.

Upon deeper consideration, Berwyn hardly counts for this topic. The relationship has dynamics in both directions, the character despite their libido is actually about something. One of the few NPCs who likes the champion but still has/had wants beyond them.

Kinda hilarious that the one character the player's obligated to give a shit about (the PC) is the one nobody was arsed to give something to besides the gift of presence.

Honestly, it's a really fun thing to rag on? The sequel that barely is, the whimsical world where the deities half-ass it, the demoness gets more of a focal point than the supposed hero, the player starts through the quest of someone else and where "Does She Have a Dick?" is not a rude question but a worldwide sport.

I don't want to call it farsical but CoC2 would probably be a great comedy game if you removed the Kitsune tree, given how numbing that place is. Shame they don't sell it that way.

I agree but at least the first one gives more of a focus to your guy, makes it easier to care.

Not sure if you want suggestions but I saw you added a couple more items to the Special Shop.
It'd be cool if you could also get Kaelirra's Tears from there.
Also maybe a way to add corruption, just to unlock the Dark Knight personality without transformatives. (Most early game scenes that add Corruption are kinda gay).

Yeah, I'd imagine most people would bring Etheryn along expecting a reaction and it's pretty jarring when there is none. Even a one-off scene of Etheryn choosing not to interact with her would go a long way. My assumption is that either Savin hasn't given Fleep permission to write Etheryn at all for this content or Fleep just didn't want to for whatever reason.

For the threesome thing, taunting Alissa by fucking Etheryn in front of her as a punishment would make more sense imo.

"Shut the fuck up" has shown up in a bunch of Fleeps works at this point. It's uttered a lot with the de-cocked demon couple as well. It's always stuck out to me as maybe being a bit too crass. But that's just a me thing.

I've noticed this as well. I wouldn't say it's too crass per se, but other writers rarely go for harsh curse words so it sticks out like a sore thumb.
