Pretty sure this is exactly what happened. Wsan didn't even know what was in the scene until someone told him.

I dunno how true this is across the board, but its been stated a lot of them don't read each other's content, including when someone else writes their characters.

Also, I think Savin asked Tobs to write a defeat scene for hobs, and Tobs just wrote this one, from what I remember on the discussion. I also am pretty sure it wasn't so much an open green light as Tobs asked to use Brienne, Wsan said sure, and Tobs just wrote a really rapey scene because Tobs.

I wouldn't make any serious assumption either way. Infighting within the team is the exact thing you'll never hear about, unless someone gets shitcanned from the team and decides to start spilling all the tea since they have nothing to lose.

Hell only the 1st two you seem sure of. With the second seemingly up in the air between folks. On top of that, however bias it is. Everyone here has the ability to go travel back down fuckery lane. And indulge themselves in examples with accompany screenshots. That some of the writers just seem like spiteful dicks.

I'm not saying it's either way. I don't particularly care because I'm here for the funsies. And however fun it is to ride the hate train. This is all old news that has transpired and played out how it played out.

I admit I didn't think about the kids. I stay away from having kids in this kind of games since wholesome content bores me to no end and pregnancy usually involves a lot of wholesome scenes so I didn't even know that you could have them running around the Wayfort and thought that they were all in Gwyn's nursery. Like, idk, why do you guys let your kids run around a fortress full of naked demons and sexed up plants and maids in the first place? This is why in porn games, kids should be non existant outside the clearly delimited areas like nurseries, at least in my opinion.

I honestly don't know what else to say regarding this point. Maybe we can all headcannon it as the courtyard being off limits to children.

As for me never did the scene so it didn't bother me. Never been a fan of sex scenes my MC isn't part of don't mind 2 characters fucking each other for a while as long as my MC gets some action in the sex scene. As for kids and pregnancy I don't think it is just the wholesome aspect but there is the power dynamic to it as well. Kind of like the MC ending CoC 2 as a god emperor/empress of the world with Kas and all so called gods as part of your harem while your children bring law and order to the world under your rule. For every corrupted being killed or every being killed by demons/wraiths you repopulate the world with your seed/womb. I see legacy inheritance as more than just wholesome. I think its a matter of perspective and having a child binds you to a character in a way a ring or a vow can't as well.

I can't speak for everyone here but I do know a lot of people love the wholesome aspect of it like you said but for me I can enjoy it more for the reasons stated above but won't say no to any wholesome scenes either. At least I get why you aren't too fond of pregnancy as you want to focus more on the sex scenes which I can respect. Also there are loads of characters you can have kids with that you can't interact with so I think people would prefer pregnancy with zero interaction over no pregnancy at all.

you can already just open the files and change whatever you want
for example some of my biggest ask are transformations giving you combat skills, like gaining wings giving you access to flight as an on-will extra ability, but wouldn't call it a proper mod since I never bothered to complete it in the way that if you lose the wings you lose the ability lol, just a personal modification for an specific run
or some extra flavor text for backgrounds when I felt like "oh I would have liked it mentoned here", or benching/running on the hawkethrone gym giving permanent base strengh and agility (its as broken as you expect under this system, but its fun)
I personally don't have a problem with the content itself, and I'm not a writer and ESL as fuck, so would never add something big like dedicking ryn, or giving brienne a futa cock, I could make the code for it for someone else, but never gonna write an extended piece of text lol, I would like more maincharacterism(?) for the MC in scenes you get sidelined as fuck, but I'm not able to write anything on that without cringing at myself and dropping it regardless of already making extra buttons and variables that problerly track for it ready if I ever finished it lmao

Exactly It was approved, and if they'd be honest it was the reaction of the fanbase that likely sparked Wsan saying no to future authors and not the concept or execution. One of many problems I see with Tobs is that he wants to abuse the PC (from social to emotional to sexual) but doesn't want to give the option of revenge or "get back," a prime example is a defeat scene with the Demontaur (the Cult group that's the best Gold Farm in the game) where you are held down and made to watch a teammate get fucked, the Taur is ultra disrespectful and clowns on you with relish. Now I thought that would unlock a rougher win scene for him where our character is out to get even but that never happens and your are just left there with no satisfaction if you aren't into humiliation. And I don't need to mention the Kitsune Den, plenty of people have said their piece on that.

Did we as the PC touch his no no square or something? Almost every time I've seen this Tobs dude mentioned. It's in reference to some one sided crap he's putting the mc through. Like modern-day Hollywood levels of contempt for the fans. Except he gets the bonus ability to dedicate the whole thing into fucking with you. Like the PC is a stand-in for us. So are we a stand-in for him, with someone he hates in life? Because goddamn. Personal feelings aside though. As one vindictive and petty person to another. I would be in awe at his craft in a different time. But alas, he is poo pooing on me as well so.

No. The only thing they didn't do is make the game easily moddable because they didn't like that some mods existed. There's a difference between making additional tools to aid in modability and making a game more difficult to mod. The game IS moddable and had a mod.

The one mod that existed that had content, Drifa was added to the game nearly half a year before she ended up in CoC2 proper. The ability has always been there, nobody has cared to work on it and the short-lived modding scene died (partially as a result of not many people have the skillset necessary to work on it to begin with).

This isn't going to be a CoC1 situation where the writers already existed and so they just kept going after the game was... finished.

Nobody is waiting for a proper time. Nobody wants to "fix" the game at all.
