Not gonna lie, I am kinda curious how persistent folks were with the requests for offspring boinking. Like was it really that bad? Or was it one of them situations where if you saw it you would go "that's it?" and they flipped the fuck out anyway.

They started working on an incest route and there was like one scene you could access ingame before they abandoned it. Instead of removing the abandoned content they just left it in leading to people constantly bugging them to finish it. The wiki says Savin was open to letting other people write it.

So no, there was no big moral grandstand against the incest crowd harassing the devs. Just like the rest of CoC1 they just didn't feel like finishing it.

Tobs was never involved with any of this and I don't know why he's neurotic about it.

It would be nice except for one thing/problem : we don't get to seduce her in the game, she is already weirdly and against her corrupt modus operanti obsessed with the mc to the point of not enslaving them as soon as she can. We can choose to be seduced by her or not but there is no seducing her. We either reciprocate her feelings or not.
A more romantic version of Ceraph would have been great but it's not what we got.
In essence there is a power fantasy here, simply by being the mc at the first encounter without doing anything the bad demon mommy was seduced.

Why enslave us? She leaves us to our own devices to become stronger. Matter of fact, she's kinda hands off a lot. Like with the hornet hive, alraune, and the centaur village. She came in, skeeted, then left like a father going for a pack of smokes. Only returning in bad ends. Most of our hinderances to her are small potatoes compared to what she gets out of our soul maturing. Plus outside of that, this is a basic trope. Big bad/adversary wanting the hero to get stronger for x reason. Tolerating all the plan interference for that purpose. And I mean sure we don't exactly seduce her. But she's a interdimensional whore of the highest caliber. Being able to seduce her ain't exactly a point of pride.

But the feelings we alone can elicit from her? That's where the money shot is. Even if she plays her cards right with us. And we give into her seduction. We don't have to do anything more. We play our cards right with her? She changes. She becomes more loving. She becomes more affectionate. She shows concern for us outside of just wanting our soul. And that's the part that I like. A slow corruption just in the other direction. We go from being someone of interest and her just wanting our soul. To still wanting our soul, but pretty much hubby. Her feelings were lust, sex, soul. By the end it's much more then that. Legit mutual affection.

I mean sure, it could've been done better. But we're playing CoC2. What couldn't be done better in this game?

Tobs started riding Savin's dick (metaphorically) while they worked on FOE together. Then (in my opinion) torpedoed the project so it wouldn't compete with CoC2.

well it seems i still have some hope in this devteam even tho I have been shafted so many times. That or I am waiting for the mods to flow like wine.

In any case reading the dev logs sometimes makes me wish for a nuclear winter.

That's actually not a bad call at all. I probably wouldn't mind that redemption route. Shame I don't trust CoC2 to handle a proper redemption route that delivers but hey, at least there's that.

...Shit, I dunno. Guess the art part is an improvement though I wasn't exactly dying for that when I played the old one.

That makes me think, though. That FoE diatribe sounds like it was a sequel of sorts to CoC1 and it doesn't feel like it was that promising and then we got this thing.

You'd think people would've looked at that and figured out it'd probably be for the best to hand control of that to someone else.

Ehhh. But I don't like Calise. I like Kas. Redeeming a character shouldn't mean a completely different one because one has none of the fun of the other. This is gonna really fucking suck if we're gonna have to pick a form/persona for her redemption route.

I genuinely thought that Savin would have been able to come up with a better solution than "big bad demon actually turns human just for you". Like she could just stay as the big bad demon queen mommy but also be your subby wife. It works for that rooftop scene in Khorminos.

After having either let Drifa get carried off to the knot cave or having saved her in the Old Forest, you’ll be able to find the location of the the Corrupted Lupines’ base. Check your questlog for a new quest that’s been back-ported in if you’ve interacted with Drifa.
This is a quite deep dungeon — over 300 pages of raw content, with a lot of different paths through the various bosses and NPC encounters therein. To avoid too much in the way of spoilers: there’s no less than 4 chunky bosses with suites of scenes and bad ends, some really rather interesting sub-quest design going on in there, plus fun ways you can end up changing certain characters throughout the dungeon! Big shoutout to JStar for writing all this, and to poor Drake for coding all of it. If you’re a fan of sweet and/or dubious dog girls, give his patreon a check.
Please note, when I say 300 pages of content I just mean IN THE DUNGEON. The followup content for the dungeon (more Drifa, more corrupted lupines, written by a combination of Jstar, Tobs, and others) will be rolling out throughout early next year. At my last count there’s more pages of follow-on content than dungeon content already waiting in the wings, which is really saying something.

From what I've encountered most of the ntr scenes are defeat scenes, losing to arona with her hp fairly full has a chance of her dicking down a companion off-screen, marefolk shaman fucks a companion with you sharing the sensation and the demon cultist encounter with the demontaur is one em, not sure to include the Siorcanna Alpha encounter since thats just you fucking them sensually and the beta's getting envious.

If you bet Cait and lose (deliberately or not) after getting friendly with Sandre & Caera, they will fuck her while you watch, lose enough times and they'll claim her ass with Cait commenting on it, otherwise you can do the same to them.
