If i remember in the past there's lust system, why did they remove it? Yeah it was pain in the ass, because of that they're remove it?
More or less balancing problems and overall clunkiness where some stats/powers were just trash, I remember Atugia pre rework being just bruh in usability. It also was long time ago (June 2022 or v5.0) since this one man rework.
I think discussion about it starts halfway thru the page:

It may surprise you that this is a bout of restraint that stops me here. I haven't talked about how threat in it's current state is broken, how stupidly unbalanced some skill/weapon (I use deadly shadow with a kunai in one hand! Very creative. Well done) combinations are, how trash most of the summons are, this game floundering against action economy, the exact number of fights with stuns, and other miscellaneous hangups that come from partially borrowing a system with no finesse to follow through.

What in gods earth, i feels like im going into a rabbit holes. I know skills in this game sucks i often stick to what i often stick to skills i used to and only change when i gets almost defeated often. I like my lust attack skills, i just seduce them and have sex after rather beat them then rape them, it just make sense than that.

Now without the lust , my build is useless, i was forced to use hp attack which more powerful, fight becomes so easy and not challenging anymore, i use my old save file, i cruising to all new content easily, even in new game, usually i need to go back and forward to recover resolve or hp, progression is even slower. Usually i dead after forgot to recover resolve too.

Think lust is main mechanic of fenoxo game even from og CoC, they had the decision to stick to the root, too bad theyre leaving them it seems. now CoC2 is like other text rpg game with CoC lore behind it i feels like.

Now you revived my ptsd, Im playing charmer now and early game sucked absolute ass, the old forest corrupted lupines were "fun" to fight against with their "balanced" skills (+50 attack and +10%crit when under 60%hp, and dual blitz: 2hit +50attack skill) .

The battles were more or less me either aoe clearingthe encounter or dying in first turn after attacking after eating a hit that took around 85/95 of my hp from just one enemy...but wait! theres fucking 3 of em.

Due to the threat system? most dmg dealt = biggest threat I was targeted instead of my companions, such fun.

I've been on this thread for I believe... probably like three, four years or so (counting the lurking) and I always forget that Mayternity is a thing. An usually underwhelming, somewhat half-baked thing. I don't see any reason to even have expectations about it by this point.

I used to give more of a shit about the battle system when I played it the first time, that's for sure. Nowadays, I just blow through a meme grenade stash I rigged in.

And it sounds like it's going to just be a repeat of that with this literal who orc we only met on the retconned Livrea quest.
