I actually did like Kas initially, but then I realized the rival route was literally just a "no" to her content instead of getting to see her from a different perspective. Then it became clear it was just "oh, submit to my fetish." Really killed my vibe.
The fact that the final decision in winter city changes so drastically but means fucking nothing just adds an additional turd on this smoldering shit sandwich.

Look, I've said this once before, but I'll repeat myself for reference.

I will play, watch, and consoom absolute shit media all because there's one character I find hot in it.

I've watched the entirety of RWBY, Darling in the Franxx, Dragonaut: The Resonance, and countless other subpar anime as well as numerous gacha games. I don't say this because I'm proud of my obsession, just to say that I can legitimately get something out of CoC II. I mean, fuck, look at my profile picture.

But even considering all of this, you have to be utterly blind to not see the flaws of this game. It is a bad game. Yes, it's not unplayable. It's not a glitch filled bug infested mess. It's not totally offensive or objectionable (It's borderline). But just because it's a bare minimum of what you expect for a video game doesn't shield it from critique. And that's what annoys me regarding the Savin glazers, how they quash even the most lightest of criticism.

I remember when I lurked on the forums there were users who were literally white knighting the writing team and answering for them whenever someone said anything regarding the game's flaws. Every single gripe was framed as a personal attack against the writers, as just angry entitled players who wanted everything handed to them. That's where I saw that tired argument, "Oh you want X in the game, well why don't you just write it yourself?".

So while I am a conissuer in shit media, I don't try to pretend that it's wagyu beef because I have some sort of complex with the people who made it. I know I'm watching or playing shit. I know I can't recommend it to others unless they're freaks like I am. But even so, if I outright hated this game, I mean seriously thought this game was fucking horrible and unsalvagble; I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't waste my time ranting about it. I wouldn't have Kiyoko as my profile pic. I get something out of this curse of a game while also am painfully aware of the state it's in.

I took their advice and from time to time cook my own homemade slop, to be honest I don't know how the fans that add their works to the game do it, I mean, it's a lot of effort that a lot of times gets passed over

This is fun, if infuriating slop, a cool playground in concept where half of the games are below mid and you have the guys that pay to be there acting like mean girls when some peasant dares to question their taste. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter, at least, the banter and memes are fun, the drama around the game is fun, even shit that has been talked to death is fun

CoC2 does have the status of modern media in which, half of the fun is complaining about said media

Hey, It's been said before, a lot of people eat shit and appreciate it. Just look at the new Star War trilogy, they made bank despite being absolute shit. When even your actors point out how shitty your movie is, you know it bad, but you got guys like this that make sure even a sticking pile looks like gold. Unless there's direct confirmation I'm not aware of, Savin is to my knowledge the current project lead of TiTS and he's just been neglecting it to focus on the project he was leading first before turning his attention to TiTS. Besides my concern is that he'll someday turn his attention to the game with better and sometimes more varied, imo, content and ruin it.

TiTS started going downhill not long after the javascript version but the game is already at it's end point so there isn't much more savin can do to ruin TiTS anyway, even if he is in charge. I mean he can still fuck up the ending but let's be real Fenoxo was probably going to fuck it up himself.

I will give leeway with Darlings in the Franxx because Zero two carried that show up until the halfway point, then fell of a cliff. RWBY was always garbage but the fight scenes made up for in spades, then Monte died.

Zero Two will always be my waifu because she was a real one. My autistic ass latched onto that series and the world building so hard. Episode thirteen was the peak of all peaks and even got me teary eyed. The manga that came out actually changed some aspects of the story to make it better. Hiro isn't much of a cuck in the beginning and actually seizes the moment to be with Zero Two. It also has full page tiddy spreads at the end of every chapter too. I'm not joking. The ending they did wasn't the best but it was a million times better than the anime's too.

Well to be fair, all the of bullshit in RWBY like the maidens, Salem, and magic being real and different from aura and semblances were apparently Monte's ideas. I think the real problem is Monte never saw RWBY as more of a funny little fighting show about schoolgirls beating each other and scary monsters.

It was the shift to the series into a more serious tone about saving the world and the subsequent fuck up of all the character's personal relationships for the sake of drama that killed it. RWBY should've continued to embrace it's Shonen inspired silliness, when a character loses or gets beaten up, they should bounce back stronger.

Instead, they decide to have Yang mope around for a season and tackle shit they obviously had no reason to touch like racism and mommy issues. And that's just seasons 4 and 5. Don't get me started on the later ones.

IIRC I think Savin popped into one of the shitfights he was involved with the forum folks and said something of the effect of "You don't need to speak for us, we can respond to people ourselves." which caused the guy to get way more quiet with his yapping.

I mean, at least ToBs had something to show from his simping. He got a cuchy position in the inner circle and has his characters in the game. I guess in the end, that's the difference between someone with actual effort and someone without.

This is why I don't buy this sort of idealization with Fen and how everything was based and awesome when he was running things and why couldn't he have run CoC II. In reality, Fen is just as much of a fuckup Savin is. Right up to the chaser mentality, though Savin at least masks it with Futa obsession, but Fen outright just drools over Trans people. He left his wife and kids to marry a Transwoman IRL. I think there was more to that drama, but that's delving into their personal lives, which is a time bomb I'm not going to touch.

Regardless, instead of having to deal with Savin's toxicity, we'd just deal with Fen comming in with,

I am so, so sorry Luma. I get that feeling. I've had stuff chilling in the review que for almost two years now that haven't been looked at, and it can be extremely disheartening. Part of the reason I still write for the game is because I want more shit in it that I like.

I've debated lurking in their discord because I know some rare art might be posted there, especially of scrapped characters. But wading through the swamp of their "humor" and "memes" makes me want to vomit.

A lot of regulars have started avoiding the coc2 channel in the discord because it's the exact same memes and humor every single day. It's annoying and exhausting to deal with

I just think it's fucking sad how they hogged companions but don't even do anything with them. Brienne and Arona are the only ones I even like seeing stuff for anymore. They will fuck up and half-ass everything they come up with instead of actually putting effort into it. There's an option when talking to arona at the orc camp about getting an alliance with minocity all to raid them, which I chose because it I kinda knew it wouldn't result in anything and because I thought it would be cool to do. You can't really trust these guys with anything, and they have a system that stops fans from adding anything they don't care for.

So many loose plot threads declared as feature complete or just ignored, I hate to see it.

I'm fully expecting them to rush the ending and not establish a real overarching plot outside the self contained planets at this point. I like Fen's vision more but I remember the first CoC's shortcomings. Plus every update is mostly bug fixes at this point. Flash dying was blow to its progress.

Knife did say that you are working on Quinn's anal expansion, and while I am more then in love with the concept, it does go far off the beaten path for him considering Bubblelord was adament on him being a strict top. What made you decide to give him one, especially one that, by the sounds of it, leans into stuff like anal training and maybe making him a buttslut? Wider community sentiment that he needs one, just somethin you are into, mixture of both or something else?

I only watched up to 3, I remember seeing like this video of a fan creating lore and plotlines that went into some deep Game of Thrones type shit, and I was just scratching my head like: "why are we having a whole ass Machiavellian fanplot with deep dark race shit?" Well Rooster Teeth actually died and then had it's corpse bought out by Viz Media. So now volume 10 is apparently in the works, but considering none of the people who worked on RWBY got replaced, it's still probably going to be a total shitshow that ends stupidly.

Even though Salem has all of the relics and has apparently pushed everyone to Vacuo (Beacon and Vale got destroyed offscreen. I'm not fucking joking. Look up the volume 9 epilogue animatic that was half finished before Rooster Teeth croaked.) I'm sure RWBY will pull some bullshit out of their ass that either reforms Salem or traps her in the zone of silence or whatever. And Cinder will probably be a good girl now and everyone will just dance around singing praises to Ruby.

I really only kept watching RWBY past volume 5 out of wanting to watch a trainwreck and laughing at the fact they seriously did this plot thread or had that scene and thought it was good to release. Volume 8 was the point I knew RWBY was well and truly fucked.

Yang is a hateful bitch who mistreats her own sister and screams at everyone while just having googly eyes for Blake, who likewise just exists to be Yang's crush. It would be funny if it's pointed out she's literally turned into Raven, but the writers obviously aren't self aware to realize that. Ruby is a useless idiot who constantly makes the wrong choices but justifies it with "We're the heroes!". Team JNR is irrelevant as always. They made Qrow a totally dumbass who teams up with an acutal serial killer in a fight and is shocked when he's betrayed. Ironwood a paranoid maniac. They brought back Penny and made her a real girl only to kill her immediatly. The election subplot that was totally a gripping commentary about the 2016 U.S. election and not as subtle as an atom bomb.

Thankfully, my based queen Weiss's only sin is that she was irrelevant in the story that's meant to delve into her own country and her relationships with her family, and the fact she was jobbing hard the entire volume. Which is the least egregious out of all the rest of the cast. And yes, I would do her, Winter, and their mother Willow all at the same time.

There are pros and cons to both communities - no offense.

The most prominent of my submissions that has been languishing is Quin's base set rework + new set that've been sorta sitting around since April of Last year.

Quin's going good! I've got his dad!expansion roughly half done, and his buttslut expac is up after that. Since Bubbles is no longer on the team, and I've been around for so long and have proven to submit quality work, Quin as a companion has been passed to me. Giving him a buttslut arc is partly because I love pegging men, and partly because since men in the game are on the rarer side, I don't think it's fair to have one of the only two male companions be strictly a top.

That being said, right now I'm working on writing Refnir and the DriderNest expansion, so it'll be a little bit longer before I can turn my focus back to Quin.

I've been part of the community for roughly five-ish years. It depends on the submission content in question. Some get in almost immediately, like the PC hellhound pregnancy I wrote for Mayternity 2024, others, like my Quin stuff, languish for a lot longer. It sorta depends on what kind of content is currently in demand. It is what it is and I'm not really upset about it anymore.
