Almost as if Bubs came and starting picking out NPCs for his characters to sleep with like buddy was at a buffet.
Never forget the rare TOBs W of him refusing Bubs when he wanted to do Kiyoko NTR. I'm pretty sure that lead to TOBs having it out for Bubs ever since. Like imagine. You're a writer of CoC II finally doing your big Nipponese fantasy/allegory that spans multiple quests, dozens of characters, dwarfs the main story for a good chunk of the game's development, is so popular that even those who hate it still have to acknowledge it.
And then some rando new writer comes and starts inserting his shitty characters into your story. His character that's an obvious mary sue. His character that has to interact with your characters. To top it off, this writer has shitty work ethic to boot, dragging his feet to do anything aside from writing his "douchebags" getting their dick wet.
Yeah, I'm not sure what Bubs was thinking was going to happen. Most writers try to endear themselves to everyone when they join a project. You know, because they're mostly writing other people's OCs, and they don't want to step on people's toes. Bubs seemed to deliberately try to be as obnoxious as possible.
Mmm, this reads like one of those newer NTR doujins that tries to do things differently than the stereotypical "douchebag steals weak man's girl" and skirts the line. I don't mean that as an insult. The reformed slut archetype is an interesting one to me, given the dichotomy between the person's past and present. Especially the "come to God" moment where the person decides to stop being promiscuous. I dunno how to properly explain it. I guess it's sort of tragedy porn? That someone lived their live chasing what they thought they wanted but then realizes that actually they're not happy.
Only thing that really stops me from really enjoying these stories is the fact that realistically, there can be no happy ending. Unless we go with the cheesy love conquers all trope where all the emotional hangups, differences in sexual experience, and relationship expectations/norms are all hand waved away because, "Gosh darn it, the MC loves this washed up prostitute that's slept with everybody in the tristate area and has twelve children with different fathers!".
Which to me feel just like a cop out. But then how can you write that stuff and not have it just be an endless drama cycle? Hence why I said realistically because most of the times I see these relationships irl between a former town bike (man and woman) and a nice guy/girl it always implodes or turns into a loveless exploitative relationship.
That's why if I ever write Cait romance (Lord knows Leothran Cait does things for me), it's going to be time shenanigans because I'd rather deal with time travel and all the headaches that entails that write about unequal relationship dynamics. I know that's the cowards way, but it's my honest feelings on the matter.
Ah Fellatrix. Yet another artist that draws absolute goddesses and then proceeds to engage in some of the worst fetishes known to man with them. :'(
