It's so over corruption bros. I truly wanted to believe but this really is ______ of Champions 2. Don't know whatit's the sequel of but it sucks. I had one thing ONE THING to hope and look forward too. I'm not over-reacting either, they will choose the easiest route with the least amount of work. I'm like mad, but I've also reached a state of zen due to my anger.

The mc sleeps with everyone that he can and wants to, nothing wrong with other characters doing the same, it's just that kind of game, all of these fenoxo games are. This game however, is the only one that gives of these cuck vibes in so much of their content. Everything has to be about a bull or some sub and dom shit, 2 ocs that fuck each other and its written like they had their best life changing orgasm they could ever have. I mean it makes sense i guess, the mc is some blank state and they refuse to give him at least some baseline of character they can all stick to, like Tits did, which is much much better in that regard. Their precious oc however, has to have it all, how would they be able to live out their fantasy trough them otherwise anyway? and don't get me started about all these commissioned fucking characters, urgh.
All of this brings me to my hate ofthe most boring character to ever exist Liaden and her relationship to Azzy. She shows up one day, helps out a bit and our favorite little hornet falls in love, ok, no matter, why not? poly is fat on the menu in this game but almost immediately she's now the most important thing to ever happen to her. Every scene with the 2 of them was about how great they are together and much they love each other and even if it isn't clearly written, the flavor of it all speaks for itself, the mc is in the way and whoever does the writing really only cares about the two of them. Even if you're in a relationship with both of them, there just isn't the same kind of passion involved. It used to be much worse, until they changed it but it still sucks. I still remember when you finished the high ground quest or whatever it was called, and you let the wet peace of paper Liaden have the sword, Azzy was so happy about it but when you finish this quest for yourself? there was nothing. That scene burned itself into my mind and left a stain on Azzy that makes me just not care for here anymore ever since. Now that we can remove her from the game, all is good yeah? not really.
It's like when a game has a NTR route and you have the choice of intervening or letting it happen, which means this character would always do the cheating/betraying or whatever unless you go out of your way to stop it. Similar logic applies here.
This might not all make much sense, feels a bit silly to read, but this is a problem with lots of content in this game. I'm not saying the mc has to be the most important and loved character all the time, really not, but you also don't have to make me feel like the a third wheel so much yeah? how dare i try to go in-between these precious characters. I can't say i actually care that much about the 2 of them as characters, it's just that this particular situation and how it plays out in the game, irks me a bit more than it should.
And while im still bitching we should have gotten the option to make Gweyr ours by keeping her away from Hawkethorne for all the shit she did or fucking corrupt her and show her off to all of them, this dysfunctional family is better of without each other anways.

Literally because the jackass never added anything that you gained for it, which should be easier as fuck. We could have gotten the prince or Jyrranaz as a companion/follower. The seeds for having Jyrranaz as a helper where already there. She promised to serve you instead of Kas. So much shit could be done but I don't want to even rack my brain bringing it up because it was just simple shit. Corruption didn't even majorly change much in the man story of coc 1, so them using the excuse of it branching off a separate path would be dumb. Not to mention THIS IS A FUCKING SEQUEL! IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL, OR ATLEAST SOMETHING OF A SET UP. There was never going to be two different routes for purity or corruption because Savin's bitch ass didn't want to make corruption in the CORRUPTION game. Which is a damn shame, but there aren't any games like coc that I feel got corruption as well as it did. There are corruption games, but It was the fact that it was a choice and the characters are radically different from them original selves. Not just slutty bimbos with effects on their body to show they "changed".
God, I wish I weren't so morally upright and mature so I could put a juju curse or some shit upon them for wasting my 10 dollars and years of my time. It's like I knew something like this would happen, but when it did that shit hurt. Like the death of a nice old lady next door who is always nice to you. Please give these guys the yandere dev treatment and come up with a better game with a similar story, so these guys and hopefully the people who pay them wake up.
Nice of him to outright tell us he never wanted to make this content, we still knew for years but now its out in the open.

Gentlemen, I present to you an idea of mine brewing in my mind for a while.
The name? Haven't decided yet, help me out here
The idea: Our protagonist (you) is currently moving to a new land called Velkanthyr, trying to start life anew from whichever land you hail from, be it for a good or bad reason. As you explore the land, you notice a whole lot of depravity that most lands you visted from before. Turns out, a former goddess was usurped as her practices of "love" turned out to be extremely detrimental to mortals and gods alike. She was sealed inside a tomb until she was freed by former followers. Now, she spreads her magic across Velkanthyr, reshaping souls to fit her depraved version of the land. You can go against her, get rid of or become gods, or embrace the lewdness.
I'm planning around 9 companions total with player agency.
The player would have complete control over their personality, as you can be dominant, neutral, or submissive with the choices you make (Something SAVIN and The Observer aren't capable of doing.).
There will be goblins and shortstacks alike, so rejoice.
You can defuta futanari characters and make them submissive af
You can overthrow gods, make them your wives/husbands/slaves, etc
Kitsune will be in the game, but unlike TheObs, they can be humbled, humiliated, or ruled by someone.
Wholesome romace/family options will be available.
Transformatives will be a thing
And much more!
...Problem is; I'm one guy with no experience with coding, only writing, and even with that experience, I alone cannot manage such a magnum opus. Plus, i got a attention span of a goldfish. So if you're on board and wanna help a brodie out, that'd be cash money.

They fucking removed bimbo content I'm seething rn on god. Savin, I pushed them in because it was hot and less companions to manage. And because I love bimbos. The lack of corruption contents in the game Corruption of Champions II is truly one of the sins of all time. This isn't even a sequel at this point with how much has been cut or pushed aside. It's not even worth calling a spiritual successor. This sets a precedent that content someone may like that is lacking but genuinely feature complete may be cut cause savin felt like it. It feels like we're playing a side character in an isekai slop anime that got way more seasons than it deserved. And of course in the comments savin isn't addressing actual complaints. He's just being snarky or clarifying gameplay, but the couple asking what the fuck is up with removing corruption got him hiding.
I'm so glad I never gave them money.

Being a snarky insufferable piece of shit is one of the requirements of being a successful writer, didn't you know? Ridiculing any semblance of criticism because the only accepted behavior is being a yes-man in an echo chamber.

As if reading about their OCs having sex wasn't enough, you get to watch it too!Hate to burst your bubble, pal, but that's a metric fuckton of work that relies entirely on having a competent coder to set everything up. Even spite writing will only take you so far, (and I say that from experience just modding the game, much less working on a ground-up framework) the burnout is a real son of a bitch.
It sounds all good on paper, and I really hate to give them any sort of credit, but writing branching paths accounting for all the clustering choices is a massive chore.
Wish I was good at coding beyond basic code-monkey skills, but I'd be happy to help with what limited experience I have.
Again, this all hinges on whether you have a coder or two who can set up something to actually work with.
