Oh man speaking of the Dawnsword quest, ya'll remember how for some reason they just had Azzy gushing to hell and back about how amazing Lia is and everything and apparently there's absolutely no fucking mention on you at all as her partner either? She was just entirely fixated on this one chick she met, almost obsessively so I heard. Or if there was it's treated as a "Oh yeah and you're here too!" *She says as she secretly rolls her eyes internally at you, the player, wanting to be acknowledged as someone in her life she is literally following around

It was said earlier when I explained the elves that they were the most NTR'y thing in the game, but I think Lia/Azzy took the case as the original instance of you getting Netorared and bc she was a companion who you were forced to have that happen to you or else you're treated as a monster for not "letting" the hornet women have "her twuueee love", to the point backlash was so big apparently that damn scene had to be rewritten. Infact it felt as if her polyamory talk was phoned in, bc even my monogamous hopeless romantic ass felt like that wasn't polyam stuff. Like I'd get it if it felt more natural and ya know, queens and drones and all that hubub and how that work, but it was just shoehorned to explain why Azzy was suddenly into this chick so much more than you. And even in the case of metamours (Metamours being you're dating someone and they're also dating someone else alongside you, but you're not dating the other person your S/O is. Or in laymen's terms, the relationship dynamic is a "V"), the thing with that is metamours are at least friends for the most part I think? but Liaden would literally rather you not be involved at all when you walk in on them, she's treated as the unwilling part in this and would rather you not be there at all when she barreled into you and Azzy to begin with. Idk how it's treated when you're getting with Lia too but I can't be bothered to check any info for that.
It's so fucking weird too to write a character being your companion and willing to have sex with you and even have more intimate instances (Doesn't she have a literal cuddlefuck scene or something??), only to switch it around and suddenly be like "Oh they were never all that into you to begin with, despite you being around apparently making them happy and them enjoying their time with you, they just tolerate you and truly love this rando all of a sudden." Again, it's the Rindo situation, but made more offensive bc it's a companion that time around and not written by Tobs. Fixing it so that Lia was around from the start is a very too little too late thing, and even then I doubt the actual relationship itself was fixed to actually be made more equal.
