JimThermic used to write for the game. A former smut writer that actually managed to make you care for his characters and not just forget about them once you've unlocked all of their smut scenes and finished rubbing one out - which is a rather rare feat in porn games. His characters all had their own stories to tell. The drama scenes he created for them are never overbearing and don't divert too much from the actual porn setting. It rather helped making them look like real people.
And he didn't just write like that for important characters, no. His side characters have a lot of that depth to them as well.

SavCo only managed to give two characters in CoC 2 the same depth and those are Savin's Kasyrra and Etheryn. Alypia tries to dip into content like that as well but as we've seen with the game's latest update, she is still far from reaching those heights. She did write a lot of backstory for Annika, but once you finished reading through her it, it becomes apparent that this character has no rough edges around her.

She was never considered by anyone as an outsider or a freak for being half-sexed like Ryn is, had a very stable family life, managed to get into something like a queen's guard and then became a valkyrie after the warrior queen herself told her that she was just too fucking good and would be better off just joining their faiths most holy order. The order that's not just the most important in the boreal elves version of it but of the whole Lumian faith as a whole. - Which she is now also the seneschal of.

If Alypia's new character didn't have that one line mentioning that she was worried about their old friend's children from the queen's guard, she would come off as a completely one dimensional being.

Although she however was a bit stressed out about her fellow valkyrie's inquiries, who all look up to her, after becoming the second most important person in the Lumian faith. - Woe is me! - Good thing our character can give her a quick blowjob and her apparently biggest problem is suddenly solved. Just like that.

Annika just needed a good pump and dump. Doesn't even matter if your character enters a relationship with her after that.

Oh yeah, Wsan, who is widely considered CoC2's most competent smut writer, also used to write for the game. Same as Fenoxo and I at least would say that quality wise his writing is on par with Wsan's. But Fenoxo also wrote a lot of "hyper" scenes for the game that match in crazyness something like that one scene with the Behemoth where your character can take him for a stroll and "ride" around on him, strapped to his underbelly. So if you're into crazy shit like that, the game won't leave you wanting. Not a lot at least.

While we're talking of questionable writing in CoC2, for me its the random NPC you lose to 1 time, then can surrender to, who proceeds to speedrun the game with infinite children waging wars for you and apparently no difficulty at all then become royalty and somehow this is a bad end.
But if you don't surrender to her she never does anything even though literally anyone that exists ever should be able to do what you do (since she changes your gender herself).

Like what the fuck even compelled Alypia to even write this? Does she actually get bothered when people even just try and offer her help when she's cooking? Did she accept someone's offer one time and the whole fucking house burned down? Was her abusive ex strangely pushy about wanting to cook together? Does she despise backseat gaming so much that it spilled over into cooking? Who even gets upset at someone who just asks if they want help? Like seriously, who actually is this offended at the mere idea of someone offering to be helpful of all things? It sounds like she fucking equates offering to help someone cook as the same level as cat-calling. This is so ludicrously bizarre that I've been dying ever since reading this shit .

But yeah, legit just seems like Alypia wrote a fanfic of her OC and then just inserted a few parsers whenever gender would be brought up. PC acts astronomically feminine in all the scenes with Annika and I physically cringed when I read the line you're talking about.

Well, with that attitude, I would not allow you anywhere near utensils, much less a cooking zone.

I am fine with some quips here and there, as long as they are not overplayed or too tryhardy. This one admittedly does weer to much into both, but it is the Ryn comment that makes it feel like a DisneyR+ sitcome joke. You just need some audience laughtet in the background and vials!

Tainted space is mixed bag. You have anno who are two same side coin with Cait. And yet Anno has more character. She's insecure because she's not smart as her sister. And she's also has rivalry with bunny mechanic. Anno also more confront the other. On other hand, Tainted space doesn't have deep many option waifu like CoC 2(Kiyoko, Briene, for prime example). Tainted space only have one waifu who's deep (The cat girl in station). Others like the monkey servant is not even deep because it's focus only about her transitioning.

And for the adventure, CoC 2 > Tainted Space. Tainted space is kinda linear, even with their side quest, While CoC 2 has potential replaybility. And yet, Tainted space has more content on transformation item. They even have one item to make sure you move if your balls is too bigger.

So basically, if you wanna know which one good to playing while you wanking, play both of them

a lotta the people here are very jaded against CoC2 and thus have a more positive opinion of TiTS. It's personal preference at the end of course, but TiTS has far more content, far more writers, and far less moderation of content compared to CoC2. This means everything you see varies like crazy. TiTS has some of the best smut writing but also a lot, and I mean a lot of generic shitty encounters and characters you don't care for. TiTS also loves to revel in extremism but it goes so apeshit crazy that you become desensitized to it with time.

For example, TiTS has a merchant futa girl who acts like an asshole. You can put her in debt, buy her as a slave, dedick her or even "re-virginize" her and just fuck and put a kid in her if you so wish. And all of it is written very well. She actually has a decent character and backstory that isn't some stupid fuck-ass paragraph of horseshit you don't care about unlike Annika who just got added to CoC2. I tend to think of this one character, Sera as the benchmark of TiTS and what smut writing can be in its freedom of choice and quality.

On the other hand, TiTS has a literal dragon (like, not dragon girl, literally a dragon) who abducts you and you can fuck her, even put your head in its vagina to pleasure it. There's also a mentally ill girl who modified her body to become a 2 dicked dragon-like thing who is also a bodybuilder and has an only-fans in universe. And this type of hyper for the sake of hyper shit is very common in TiTS and very quickly makes it all a generic blender of "wowww thats crazy hmm".

Also TiTS in-universe explanations of things are just kinda eh. For example there is a dragon girl race who have like 1000 clits in their vagina. So sex is apparently very pleasurable for them. Except you can't really write that and make the reader feel that, and there is only so much "you cum like 10402394 times at the same time because you have 30000 clits" a reader can possibly relate to. All that shit about cum addiction another poster said for example, does nothing to me because it's little more than a writer's asspull tool.

I think most of TiTs encounters being 'generic' is fine, its a fuckfest game, we're not reading Shakespear, we're shaking spears.
But TiTs has more notably imbalanced or buggy encounters than CoC2. Still has an enemy I can set to 0 hp 15 turns in a row and via lust or hp it won't die and I just have to run and now has that one stalker character who's stats are so insanely overtuned you can give yourself like 30 hits per turn with max stats and she still takes 2 turns to kill even though end-game enemies go down in like 3 hits. I specifically cheated my stats just to easily beat her, then went back to an old save to never speak to her to begin with.
CoC2's encounters only real have issues with when they spawn so many enemies it runs out of the alphabet

I have to disagree with you on that point, man. Sera, Mirrin, and the Frostwyrm are all unique experiences. I would not describe a single on of them as generic or same-same.

I guess I misused the word generic in here. They must certainly be unique to leave such an impression on me even if negative, what I mean is all the extreme hyper stuff just kind of loses its luster as TiTS overall revels in how much it pushes the envelope. And some of the writing sort of can't stand on its own weight beyond that niché once the shock factor dies off.

At least, it does for me. I guess I'm just not TiTS's target audience so what I say might fall flat.

I pretty much agree with this wholeheartedly. The hyper stuff was endearing at first, but it's so normalized that it doesn't really mean anything after a certain point. Like half the characters in the game can cum a minimum of a gallon and cumflate things, they all have insane body proportions, the whole universe is parodied to hell, etc. At this point I just skim over all that kinda stuff because it stopped having any meaning in that game.

Makes me really want a more grounded approach to these kinds of games other than Love and Corruption.

This was already gone over. You talk to her like twice with no flirting, PC says "Girl, you just need to get laid", PC sucks her dick, and then right after that you can start going out with her. It's not any more romantic than Brienne instantly being in love with you. From what I skimmed through there aren't even really any romantic events with her, just a fuckton of talk options.

The game outright tells you she likes caring for people and that she's pretty old, rather than showing it. That's about it in terms of milf status. If anything, she feels more like an older sister type rather than a milf. Personally though, she's not characterized well enough to be great examples of either.

Though really, I'm not sure why you're asking this instead of just going through her stuff yourself.
