For anyone who already did the Temple of Challenge dungeon and cant get the Horn of Tides anymore, here's a console command for it. Put it in(F12 is the key to bring console command up) and then rest to skip a day and then you'll get the quest.

Pretty generic all in all but serves my purpose enough.

Ay based I'm hoping for the same thing i got a male champ and Ryn is always my no.1 on my party, my fear is Savin or whoever is writing the quest ties Ryn's submissive nature to the cage and once the cage comes off, Ryn's character does a complete 180 and she becomes like all the other boring dom futa characters and your forced to either keep the cage on (which would be a corrupted choice) or keep it off and deal with Ryn's new terrible character.

Honestly, while I get where your fear is coming from, Savin is probably the best futa/dickgirl writer on the team.
Kaede, Syri, Ryn, Arona, Kada are all distinct from one another and do not really overlap. And Savin created Ryn for people that are into owning or romancing dickgirls, so her suddenly gaining dominiring persona just because her cage feel off would be to much of a jump. And he is pretty consistent when it comes to keeping to his characters whole appeal.

Certainly more than some others.

Amazonian winged elf female only into females on my main. My gigachad impregnator alt I usually go with a mix of manticore and salimander, though if they ever finish the dragon TF's I'll be going with that, and of course he's into anything that can be knocked up.

Great I test the new update only to find out that I need to go back to an old save and to do the dungeon again
I thought at least while I was in shark sanctuary I could have some fun while I was down there only to be reminded that Coraline the asexual shark girl exists to tell us just how uncomfortable sex makes her in a porn game. Then all my hope for this year evaporates out of existence.

All my motivation to play this game is gone for now I will wait until the next update. Probably not a good idea to add an update that is not only a complete time waster as I can't even remember which character you are meant to bring with you to the dungeon to get the horn but to be reminded of the worst idea yet for the game is just painful.

I keep two saves: Generic straight male human with 0 transformations, and generic bi female human with 0 transformations

The same way I make ALL my characters in every game I play, all the time. Just a regular human. I'm VERY boring. Black hair, light blue eyes(I like blue), tan-ish skin, average yet fit body type.
I go bisexual but I very much lean towards feminine dudes like Berry, June, the new Cassidy, etc. but that unfortunately means my characters are just straight most of the time since femboys are a bit of a rarity.
And the most I do when it comes to TFs is get the dick size to an optimal size(12x2.5 for TiTs and CoC) that allows me to see most of the content and bump virility and output but I dont even do that in game, I cheat those changes in so I dont have to save scum.

I create my omega human man, I just pretend that the vagina is like a uterus inside the butt and then my brain works its magic. I usually make him very muscular with a good butt and that he can self-lubricate well, I increase his masculinity to the limit, sometimes I let the pectorals grow and lactate, although it can become problematic over time, once I tried to make a male incubus but I ended up with a creature between my legs that I doubt can be called a penis, that's why I messed with humans.... ...... it is not known what kind of creatures my luck is able to create xd

Fem pc (vagina, no dick), usually plantfolk with a "built for babies" milfy body (big tits, ass, thighs but like...realistic big not the hyper the game sometimes goes into). TiTs plant transformation is better but I take what I can get with CoC2.

I play as a gay, alpha male, corrupt lupine with a huge cock and balls.
I generally play the same way in other porn games as well, although species differs per game based on which available species is closest to demon fox in the specific game.

Out of curiousity how are the asexual characters used? Are they portrayed as plot heavy side characters that push the story forward? Can you as the MC move them from their position of sexuality?
I can see asexual character only working in very specific cases in porn games, personally I think they are a terrible idea as a 1 scene character that has no sense of progression especially in CoC 2's format as a game. I really wish I could remember how the dungeon works though and how to get the horn.

I play 4 characters as for race it differs for me.

-Straight dominant male starts as human barely transforms mostly to get massive balls and a huge equine dick. In this playthrough I try to play it as straight as possible which is surprisngly hard considering how many things like to ream your asshole.
-Straight Switch female starts as a Lupine but have had cow and plant-like transformations in addition. Mostly start as Lupine for Garret content. Also have done bimbo females so I go full submissive in those as well and keep Brint as Brint.
-Bisexual switch Herm starts as elf but will just transform to anything as I mostly use this character to experiment. Have done corruption variations where I go succubus futa with a dominant personality too.
-Bisexual submissive male will get transformations that keep them really feminine but lose their male equipment. Also keep Brint as Brint here.

While I do enjoy the TF aspect especially if it plays into the character the scenario for me I don't have as much enjoyment if your TF feature is barely commented on in a sex scene or sometimes ignored completely. For me if I am playing a submissive character forced transformations on the player with characters are fun for me especially if it plays into the character's story. Even mental changes are exciting for me and TiTs does this well with I think its Lain who hypnotises you and the cum addiction from Ardia so you become their sub also the option of becoming their alpha makes her super submissive which is fun too. As for my dominant characters/ corrupt characters I like the fun of transforming others like Kelt and Arian in CoC or if I want to be a complete asshole to corrupt pure characters like Jojo and Marble.

As much as I love Brienne I am not as big a fan of how it takes place for example I would have preffered if Brint and the PC were experimenting with something and it was a progressive accident where you can decide together with Brint if they like the changes and want to keep progressing down this route. Rather than puttting on armor that changes Brint into Brienne overnight with the game warning you that you are a cruel person if you don't send Brint to Sanders right away who is a few meters away from where you are staying. Similar with Berwyn/Wynne if the writers put in maximum effort I would have preffered that since they became a lesser god-like entity to have a malleable form that can change regularly also if they were dominant with you in the past to remain dominant so even without a penis they would dom the PC. Also to expand on the pregnancy content like interacting with your child instead of removing the content as if you never had children with Berwyn/Wynne.

I don't even bother in 2 because corruption and transformation is pretty much pointless. I'll always remember my very first CoC 1 character though, I just ate every single item I found to see what would happen and ended up turning them into a fucked up demon monster. I think CoC 1 even had a special descriptor on your character sheet if you ruined your character enough, corrupted mutant or something.

I usually try to stay human but I'll roll with whatever transformations happen to occur. I think the only notable changes my character got was demon eyes and a knotted phallus, thanks to evergreen.
