So I just had a realization:

My metroid oc brutallty violates Nakano. Since he's the same as Samus, just less experienced, he'd still kick his ass.

Now I wonder; How many of y'all oc's horribly violate the cast of villians and such in CoC2?

You know, I don't actually think about power scaling that much. More of a story n character guy.

I followed the instructions in order and now I'm being charged with murder, necrophilia, unlawful imprisonment, and the judge gave me a weird look. I don't even know how I got charged with unlawful imprisonment of a corpse. I became the enemy at least so mission accomplished?

No problem. That little skip function is buried for some reason, I had to dig in the forums to find it. It should be on the toolbar by default.

Is it still netorase if we're almost outright discouraged from being emotionally invested in most characters or given no say in its occurrence?

Tollus is gonna have a Team Rocket blasting off again ending and appear in CoC3 with Groucho glasses mark my fucking words.

the many faces of tollus.png

Is shitty netorase because there's a cheap, half baked attempt at making you care that they can't allow. CoC2 is full of superficial relationships that have the tiny, tiny detail to remind you over and over again that they're superficial

Centaur wife?, she loves you, just remember her mother got bored of her hunk husband so yours could do the same any second now
Other centaur wife?, unlock her DLC content with the cock pack
Other, other centaur wife?, she's fucking the centaur sidepiece, in fact she's fucking everyone
Horse wife?, heee...
Fox wife?, she moved into the country and things are not that great, somehow you managed to bang her family too but your kids look nothing like you :HideThePain:
Dog wife?, cutie, might go into suicidal e-girl phase
Cow wife?, cow wife
Orc wife?, "hahaha I'm green I have a dick!"
Bee wife?, she comes with a human gf and made that particular sexual phantasy lame
Headless wife?, got taken by bull husbando
Bull husbando?, here I make the list really short by taking out a bunch of names and finally, Cait
lol
And I guess Etheryn is there too and Kasyrra, yeah

So I just had a realization:

Me, but I have a hazmat suit and a hammer (steel hammer which pretty much defeats their shitty bronze age technology), and also basic knowledge to create explosives which I don't because that's really dangerous

Also I can cough on them and my deep understanding of their universe and their existence as masturbatory toys created for Savin's amusement might give them crippling depression

On one hand genes are weird. On the other hand none of them look like Kiyoko either. Maybe they're all Keros's kids and he hid them in Kiyoko. Damn I wish I didn't already make the Maury reference so recently.

Dog wife?, cutie, might go into suicidal e-girl phase
Everyone wants a big tiddy goth gf, but when it comes time to sack Rome with her then suddenly she's too emotional.

Headless wife?, got taken by bull husbando
I asked my headless wife for head. If she had a head she'd be glaring at me.

Centaur wife?, she loves you, just remember her mother got bored of her hunk husband so yours could do the same any second now

Do the Dryads count as centaur wives? At least their poly thing is up front.

Orc wife?, "hahaha I'm green I have a dick!"
Y'all out here really letting Arona and the other orcs live?

Cow wife?, cow wife
Cow Wife.

You forgot to expand on Cat Wife. Because is more romantic than *checks notes* anal. Fitting since Cait is banal. I'll turn myself in now.

Different folks, different strokes, I guess? I do remember seeing those designs in the past, kicking around, but... yeah, not interested in the series given what I've looked up on their wiki. Not my cup of tea.
Yup. There are genres I have zero interest in, both in hentai and non-hentai. I don't really get the obsession with sports anime as an example. To each their own of course. CoC is one of those where I like certain aspects, but other aspects leave me meh. Still, its an interesting premise if nothing else.

Given how nothing has really changed and Savin was intentionally vague, I believe at this point he was refering specifically to the kitsune that violated the no magitech rule with the puppets and armor since he got one small side quest and was ignored ever since.
My personal spite piece with that would have to be a proper cool fight on even ground (somewhat). If they're gonna have magitech, have the champion just hop in either God Gundam (if you wanna go full goofy weeb Power Rangers energy), or Barbatos if you want your Gundam to be the manifestation of your hatred of Tobs (seriously, he's named after a demon and his name Lupus Rex translates into Wolf King, that thing is basically the Kitsune destroyer).

Come on, let me sick my angry mecha on them, it'll be for just one fight I promise.

Who could possibly be worse? Tobs?
Someone worse than savin is a thought I can't fully imagine. Then again, I don't necessarily think he's a shit writer it's just his attitude and way of handling the game annoys me.
I never challenge the ability of some folks to find the worst possible outcome.

I'm having a devil of a time trying to figure out the solution to the puzzle door in the Temple of Elosa, anyone have a picture of the solution or a description of how to solve it?

Ask the Kats fellow, he knows. I'm guessing the wiki doesn't have it, yes?

Wasn't there a guy who came in here a while back that says he loves NTR, but the NTR is so weak in CoC2 that he was always soft? I think that says all you need to know about the writing being dogshit when even your audience who gets off to it says you suck.
There was, I remember that. It'll be a nightmare and a half to find it, unfortunately.

Savin mentioned somehow being unhappy with how far the tree went and letting Tobs go crazy. Given how nothing has really changed and Savin was intentionally vague, I believe at this point he was refering specifically to the kitsune that violated the no magitech rule with the puppets and armor since he got one small side quest and was ignored ever since.
Shame, I did like the puppets. It kinda was the main reason I started to ponder on a scenario where you hire the kitsune crew to help out at the Wayfort. Imagine the sort of shit one could pull with a literal magical engineer kicking around.

...Well, I now know something I would rather unsee.

Seriously, who the hell gets off to this drivel?

Imagine you get to kill Tollus and take over the cult as Kasyrra's true chosen one and dark god of Savarra, or just imagine you get to Kill Tollus and he doesn't get away like a wacky cartoon villain
And the PC still gets fucked by Kasyrra somehow.

So I just had a realization:

I don't engage with spite in a violent manner. Rather, I find it more satisfying to joke and play around with their precious OCs and take them for parody. That said.

You just like Barbatos, I also like Barbatos.
Though magitech on top of all the vague nonsense that is this world's magic system would fuck up the tiny sliver of plot or sense remaining, if there was any to begin with.

You know if Cait ever gets her slut tattoo removed and has kids, shooting them with the Caitpult counts like a grapeshot?, I'll need some coconuts and string because I'm sure helmets in Savarra will be downgraded to make things more balanced in favor of anyone trying to kill the champion

They kind of reminded me of those puppet walkers from that spin off Naruto game on the PS2. The armor was too far into magitech but the puppets seemed fine, especially since there's a shit load of rock constructs. Though they do create a question of why there aren't more guarding the tree or being used to secure routes outside the tree for any noncombatant kitsune to safely move around or to protect from imps. Maybe Tobs got told the armor was too far and he decided if that was too much then the glorious nippon puppets are too good for the setting.

Thanks I hate looking at it.

Kas complained to her dad that the new helmet was too hard to split open so now it's been nerfed and her axe has been buffed. PPE performing as intended is a power fantasy.

I hate the inventory system in this and in TiTS. Part of the reason I don't check the updates without something substantial added is because I spend more time dropping items than trying to wade through Tobslop quests. Most games at least classify misc items as such and let you carry a large quantity for quality of life and have everything but weapons and armor stack usually.

I mean, it doesn't have to go full magictech or Mecha. We could just have Star Trooper/Halo/Fallout/All You Need Is Kill power armor. It'd take a little bit of finagling with the terms and processes (which I'm not sure Tobs would even bother to write even if he got permission) that they have, but it's possible lif an artificer in dnd can make a make it, then sky's the limit with this vaguery.

Its prolly more like Tobs didn't think about the repercussions of adding that to the Fox lore. Saying that it was "too far" implies self-awareness from Tobs.

Funnily enough, I wish it was more interactive like ResEvil or Moonlighter or Deus Ex. I like it when the inventory matters.

this one feels a lot more railroaded story-wise
The illusion of choice is on full display. All roads lead to Kas.

I'd settle for it not being disruptive or annoying. Inventory is like a pop up most of the time, especially if you didn't realize you were hoarding cultist charms or some other item.

Love Deus Ex and the Attaché Case though. The RE Village achievement of not organizing inventory is probably one of the hardest ones I ever unlocked.

Saying that it was "too far" implies self-awareness from Tobs.
I was more meaning he was told by Savin it was too far, not that he reached that conclusion himself. And that he decided withholding the glorious 10000000000 folded wooden puppet robots was somehow his way of rebelling because in his mind depriving the people of kitsune content is a punishment and not a reward. Of course it's all just me speculating either way. Savin is usually careful when actually addressing Tobs fuck ups so as not to run him off, so only those two know what the actual problem was.

With how low tech it is it'd have to be wearing a golem or something. Or maybe magical hardlight produced by magical gems on a bodysuit. But that'd never happen, at least for the player.

Tobs went for the classic over powered technology in nippon hands, which means he re-imagined the guys with shitty guns and metal cone helmets killing samurais as one man metal fortress shooting several rounds of incendiary ammo and laser beams, like, sure since ancient times there have been automatons and a lot of them were impressive, but movement on itself it's the issue, human locomotion and locomotion in general is complicated, reason why wheels are so useful, you can bypass that complexity by mounting something onto wheels

Don't know man maybe I'm overthinking it when Tobs just wanted some Naruto puppets throwing kunais and shurikens, and why the fuck is everyone in Naruto 2 so weird?, can't convince me that kid grew up to be a corpo slave chained to his own bureaucratic machine so they could do another "abandoned child" plot

Is like no one learned anything

I liked Sakura and look at her now, poor woman might as well be married to Butters's dad

Obviously, not enough Rock Lee involved. He was the best character of the whole thing.

The kitsune in question is a lazy bum, probably. Joining the Wayfort would motivate him, I'm sure.

Should just went that route with it to be honest. Does Tobs even know what he wants to write at this point? The Fox ppl are at a dead end and they have no effect on the plot, I rarely see him in credits if he isn't writing forgettable filler for other ppl's ocs or his own. (could say that for all the writers there :Kappa:)

Nice, my grimdark ass was thinking of sowing dangerous beasts together and wearing them or making a suit out them and empowering it with enchantments
