Forcing a binary choice when not needed will always be stupid, same as shifting a potential two way streets romance into a three-way because your philosophy of, "this npcs are just like you, they have their own life, chud", comes off a spiteful writing more apt for a forced drama in a visual novel, and sure that could be interesting, from Azzy's POV. She does feel in debt to the champion and there's a romantic sense to all of that but then there's Liaden who she really likes and for whom she falls in love immediately, love at first sight you could say. How does she express that in a less retarded way?
