Yeah, starting a new game and doing the Kiyoko quest content with more experienced eyes and knowing about TOBS now has it hit differently. There's a special scene with kid Kinu where she's upset with her mom and after talking to you she confides that she likes that you're an outsider because you don't have all the cultural and species hang ups that Kitsunes have, which was a nice scene to read. But her out of the orb makes that touching moment gone in the wind, she's fully accepting of the Kitsune way of life.

By now I can only conclude that how TObs went about this was to serve his own muddled fantasies.
Like, somewhere while TObs was writing her, Kinu transformed from an OC to his full blown waifu, It's why she's paired so strongly with his self-insert character's.

Hell, I'm pretty certain the only reason why the ten year time-skip even happens is just so that he can pair them up. It's also why the engagement happens, there was no need for that at all.

It all feels as if he has gone out of his way to say, "Stay away from my waifu, you uncultured foreign barbarians, Kinu is mine!". Read that as his self-insert Nakano and you get the gist.

And his Japanophilia necessitates that at any moment all characters must love Japanese, I mean Kitsune culture. And must defend it, constantly, arguing at any moment without prompt, that all the possible issues that the kitsune might have, which they don't in his eyes, are good things actually.

So a normal Kinu who might have objections or problems with kitsune culture can't really exist, at least not written by him. She's his waifu and therefor must obsess over the things he obsesses about.

And I don't even want to get into how much all this stuff, also proceeds to kinda ruin Kiyoko as a character.

From my understanding, you can submit writing to their forum and they may look at it. It's basically free labor. If Savin likes your writing he may commission you to write a scene, another futa, maybe invite you to their creator's discord, or inform you of his content bounties. You're right in that it does have an official writing team though it's really just Savin's friends he hopefully divides the patreon money with, and a coding team of unknown size. Basically the writing team does whatever they want as long as it's in accordance with the main design doc and Savin's wishes. Unless you're Tobs, who gets minimal oversight it seems. Or Wsan who has been exiled to the horsecock mountain mines.

It makes Savin's "no one wanted to do it' complaint hollow when he has a team he's allegedly in charge of.


I'm fully convinced he's using Patreon's rules as a shield to justify why he won't do certain content.

Perhaps I'm getting too conspiracy theorist with this, but do we know for sure Tobs is actually Chinese and not lying about his nationality as part of an elaborate roleplay/psy-op? And I'm still salty about it! The second he said that shit in response to me was the first massive crack in my good will. He could've just said they didn't want to or didn't feel comfortable with vampire related stuff but instead he lied. Lied through his teeth I tell you! Crimson Veil, THE vampire game, is on Patreon without issue. And CoC2 has Patreon violating stuff too but no suddenly they're worried Papa Patreon will get the belt. Savin is so full of shit but he can't help but run his mouth and get caught. Ghost fucking, grooming, and exalting historically harmful institutions are fine but apparently Vampires are what Savin thinks will stop his gravy train.

It's probably testing the waves a bit for now. A flakey anti-mod dev does that to a game.

I fully expect him to try to mod proof the game near the end and require a method of decompiling or untangling whatever botch job he does to the code. Thankfully I feel confident in saying that, while a bit of a pain to figure everything out, it running on Java and being editable with a find and replace function means anything he does will just mean it takes a little longer to find a new way to edit stuff. Unless he goes really nuclear. But there will always be old versions floating around if he does that.

This game will end the same way its predecessor did. Rushed, unsatisfying, and poorly balanced. But this will be worse.

If my memory is right, I think it came it that Tobs was a Straits Chinese, that is, from Singapore or Malaysia. Don't quote me on that. Like I said, it's all very strange why Tobs decided to tell his personal commentary on Japanese imperialism when there's no real consequences of it and no real events pertaining to it.

Okay, that was what I assumed, it's just weird to me to say something wasn't being done and is therefore being removed as if there was no possibility of it being done. I suppose that's also why the game is taking forever despite being rather short if the next act is indeed the finale and why TITS rarely updates as well. World's quite different and amateur game dev'ing far easier nowadays than even the days of CoC1, it'd make more sense to just do your own thing than to work for free for somebody else.

In my free time, I've been trying to rewrite Hime Kinu into something likeable and not just TObs'es weird masturbatory Japanese Yamato Nadeshiko blow up doll.

It's a character I'm calling Fake Princess Kinu, making her ,weeeelll , completely different. More childish, human, cute, warm, huggy, an egregious championcon, totally incesty, and not engaged to an self-insert racist douche.

But God, having to actually read TObs'es writing, and pay attention to what it actually says instead of just glancing over it.

It makes me wanna punch the guy in the face, holy crap, it's so awful.

Like, it reads so weird, I can barely explain it. So full of itself, you know. Filled to the brim with awkward conversations, strange messaging, constant reminders of how special his OC's are and how great japan, sorry the Kitsune, are. All the while reading like a college kid who took a semester of eastern culture studies trying to pad his thesis to get a high enough word count.

Also you can just feel the disgust for the player just dripping of it. It's the worst.

Like was it so hard just to write a daughter character, or a somewhat Japanese inspired people. Was any of this weirdness necessary. Or were his daddy issues and Japonophiliac tendencies just completely impossible for him to repress.

He became friends with the creator Fen. Savin has several chips on his shoulder from this period that he still carries to this day. After the failing of a spiritual CoC successor called Fall of Eden, Savin decided to make a full on 'sequel'. To compress the stuff down Savin has brought on people like Tobs who is equally as toxic and has proceeded to be a failure of a team lead. He's run off writers, focuses content solely on his specific fetishes, has an inflated view of his writing and world building, gutted content, claims ownership of anything people submit that gets in game, left various content in a state of limbo he deems complete, is a performative ally who fetishizes groups he allegedly supports, is difficult to work with, and is using the name recognition to profit. There's a lot more and I'm leaving out details for the sake of brevity but the short version is Savin is a toxic dumbass who read a webcomic about the demon queen yuri after playing DnD with his friends and decided he to make a game about it where he can stuff futadom and netorase content in it with his friends. He then slapped the name of his friend's successful first game to profit off of name recognition.

There's a lot more and some details left out and I don't know everything. K1ng_C00mer has mentioned some details as well and honestly one could fill numerous pages of a document detailing all the drama from Helia to now. CoC 1! You have Greta, the pink succubus seamstress at the Bazaar, with massive tits, and the text is always going on about the heft, weightiness, and momentum they have. They're actively a factor of her movement. Of all characters, she is one that definitely breasted boobily across the room.
And the milk slave from the desert temple, too. Her breasts are so big it renders her generally immobile and requiring attendants to assist her with things. It also makes her retarded—in a literal sense, her intelligence is inverse to her cup size and she gets smarter if you shrink them—but that's a different matter entirely.

I still strongly believe A-DD is ideal range. I don't like the excessive and extravagant stuff. But I can appreciate someone willing to put the legwork to always account for it. You will not have a normal life with tits as big as the rest of you.
