That is a fantastic question and I have no idea what was going on in his head at the time. Maybe he was younger, dumber and just doubled down on it out of stubbornness. Maybe he is really just a spiteful prick. He may even just think it's funny and not consider it a big deal. He wouldn't be the only person to write a character just to piss people off then go about business as usual.
And you are correct on Act 1 covering the Winter City and Act 2 being Khorminos.

I presume Act 2 is the minotaur place, haven't done much there yet, hopefully Act 3 is a rushed battle with whatsherface and we can move on to modding.This shit is supposed to be Act 2

Played this a long time ago and really loved a lot of the early bad ends that resulted in enslavement and breeding but as the game went on the bad ends felt a lot sloppier and defeat basically meant instantly drooling over some massive dick.
I've been reading the wiki (which seems poorly maintained) and haven't seen many bad ends added. Have any bad ends been added that are along the lines of the orc encampment ones or are they still just defeat = slut mode?

Wow Cait really is getting special treatment. She gets three items which boost her stats in all her sets,
Phyreheart clasp - 10 spellpower, 10 fire res , just bought in minotown
Rimbound grimoire +5 spellpower +5 critical, bought from tanuki mearchant
Rimscore - howling in the dark quest, give it to her : 15 frost damage to staff sets,
all sets: +10 Spellpower, +20 Armor, +20 Ward
Only the shemale elf gets like 10holy damage in bow sets and 10 crit from one quest.
She gets THREE boosts , 25 spellpower... This is insane...

Netwise I don't have a problem with the format and actually prefer it to a compilation of smut stories. Well. More so in TiTS. Like I said, they could have kept TiTS going forever at the pre JS conversion pace and I'd have been happy.
There's a bunch of small, generally slept on features in CoC1 and TiTS that help with mental space when setting up the scene or playing the character that would be absent in a pure novelized format. For the sake of brevity, let's say that the immersion would be lost if you just read about two things happening to two character's you're detatched to.
Which in hindsight is virtually what happens with CoC2 anyways.

Honestly I can't think of many other unique bad ends that fit your criteria. The mushroom dungeon has one but your character just ends up a mindbroken husk. It's rubbish.
In comparison to the first few years, most of the bad ends are either the thing you seemingly don't like (being instant cocklust) or death.
Thanks for the info. I kinda got the feeling they were moving away from being a game about struggling to not be dominated and more towards a harem focused game.

The power dynamics and corruption elements of the NPCs from the first one was what made it special imo, we are getting none of that here instead focusing on ... what is the game even focusing on besides milking gullible gooner money ?

I don't even think Act 2 is anywhere close to done. They'll drag it out till 2026-27, and then put the final frameworks into play. This game won't be done with Act 3 at this rate, until 2032 (maybe even longer).This shit is supposed to be Act 2
Really the story just kept getting bloated with the more characters they add. Some don't even matter in the grand scheme, you honestly just need Cait & Ryn, everyone else won't even matter. Writer favoritism.
Its like the final planet in TiTs, which could've been done WAY sooner, if they just saved the side characters until afterwards. Then they could finish coding in different reactions more cohesive like, instead of having writers drop out with nothing to show for it.
I remember how they were promising that Tychris (salamander town) will "totally", "definitely" become a real location you could visit at some point.
And someone was also mentioning the other minotaur town. Where females are tall and dominant, while males are short and submissive.
Salamander town is going to be the demon queen's castle from CoC1 all over again, isn't it?

I want there to be more of a relationship between the community here and the devs but I don’t think for a second that they want that. Take 4 of the devs and have each of them comb through 500 of these pages comments for what they consider “legitimate arguments” and they would be done in one work day, maybe less.
As I’ve stated above, doing a passion project and asking for money to do so isn’t bad at all. People can spend their money on what they want. My issue has and always will be labeling the game as a sequel to something with no intention of making it like its predecessor, rather simply using the name for influencer. That’s dishonest and it takes a lot of cognitive dissonance to pikachu face at users/ patrons of your game when they get upset for lack of similar content to the original or get fed up with constant requests for it.
