An update that took nine (9) (nueve) days to release has this many bugs? Not to mention that apparently the prostitute trap has supposedly been in coding for some time. Pure laziness and incompetence.

Every time an update drops i have more fun coming here to watch people bitch about this game so hard and yet never seem to find it within themselves to quit the game. I like the game and have for almost 2 years now and i do have plenty of things that bug me but you guys take it to a whole 'nother level. I love it, total pop corn. :LOL:

Edit: to be clear, i'm not having a dig, i agree with about half of the complaints here, i just love the spectacle and intense commitment to ripping on the devs, the characters, the art and the code.

I think that the reason a lot of us stick around (at least for me) is because there aren't really any other games like CoC2, except TiTs which has been in development hell for about 6 years, and CoC1 of course. Oh, also Lilith's Throne but that games dev/content cycle is somehow worse than CoC2's (and the game gets boring fast imo).

There's a lot of nostalgia from CoC1 there too probably, and a desire to see some of the quality found there applied in CoC2. Instead we get subpar writers cluttering the game with mary-sue OCs and our character has no choice but to like them, no choice in anything really. Yay.

Eh. As fun as it would be, I doubt that company would do anything. People use Patreon to make games with the Honey Select engine which is definitely not legal -- at the very least I'd be shocked if the ToS allowed people to profit from it. Doesn't stop Patreon from collecting money from it, though. You gotta get the company to be proactive and see if it's even worth suing over.

Maybe if someone on this side of the hemisphere has licensing rights it'd be easier.

I remember Savin saying the Champion is not our character. They're the dev team's. Or something like that, he used Mass Effect as a reason so... yay, Mass Effect doesn't ruin just CRPGs* with its legacy but porn too.

*I remember when CRPGs actually had fucking choice and your character was your own, didn't need voice acting to limit you. I'm a grumpy old man, leave me alone.
