Spoken with Lumina several times to get in and out of the duty, but they dont appear.

There are only TWO permanent male companions, and one temporary male companion-- in multiple senses, as Berwyn is a temporary companion, and temporarily male, as they're made female upon the conclusion of their arc.

two things berwyn's gender at the end of his story arc is completely up to the player(and by that i mean you not your pc and you briefly play from berwyn's pov as he/you makes those choices) as such can stay male if you wish.
also secondly garret is a temporary male companion too so two.

You have to actively decide to intervene to keep him male.
IIRC it was possible to miss the gradual transformation. Although maybe that was changed / maybe I misremember and they made it so it is impossible to miss and you have to make a choice if to intervene or not.

since 0.5.7 it hasn't been changed, maybe you speed clicked through the choices (i've done so myself in the past replaying old content to get to new stuff after losing saves and ended up clicking choices i regretted)

I think it's fair they deleted some of them. They were totally not productive to the thread at all (I think 1-3 of mine got the boot too). Sometimes we forget this is just a sex game and get to heated in the comments... To bad we can't hatefuck eachother for relief. xD

Nah but seriously Savin is a decent writter with weird fetishes and that's ok. I might not like ntr/ being dicked by futa/ sharing type of content and he likes writing that. He also writes a lot of good female characters, it's just the content that is bad.
I think one of his issues might be him only writing with futa/female main characters in mind, which would make his content much more paletable. The other one is definitely him not wanting people to have power (even though he writes a lot of rape scenes).
