Tbh, I don't really care about dedicking Etheryn, mostly because I don't really care about Etheryn at all. She's okay as a plot device, but also intrinsically tied into several things that are wrong with the game as the devs little futa-princess. She's practically got enough content to have a small game of her own, and the game repeatedly tries to push you into engaging more with her.

She's mostly just a walking embodiment of the devs insistance on the importance of their OCs and fetishes. Much rather rework Elthara into a companion, at least she's likeable and doesn't require us to be her personal therapist

Oc special treatment is very apparent with her but at the same time I think its work ethic by Savin and a sign that he's not a good lead. Why the fuck aren't the companions with writers aren't given this same treatment? Because Savin wants his characters to be special.

Yeah, companions are either 'barely there' or 'could have their own game', with very little in-between. And neither category seems to correlate with how interesting that character is.

Don't really know, but I remember seeing somewhere plans for the addiction mechanic that we only got a preview of before the axe (tbh i think it would be like ardia from tits, or kalysea if dom), plus follower ofc and having follower shenanigans.

I mean I've already accepted that dedicking Ryn probably isnt going to happen and that's fine whatever, I just wanna know why its not possible for her to have both cause like its been a hot minute since I've played the game let alone completed Ryn quest so I cant remember if it was ever explained why she cant eat a pink egg and have both, the only mystical woohoo magical bullshit that I know she was affected by was her cage and nothing else

Yeah, its a mess if you try to play through Act 1 without her recruited, she might be an 'optional party member', but recruiting her is clearly expected of you

I think the big problem with the modding scene and dont quote me on this is that everytime a new "update" is pushed by the devs their spaghetti code gets more spaghetti and fucks up any mods that were made so realistically I dont think any big time mods will be pushed until the game is finally completed.

It's not really as big of a problem as it sounds like. As long as you work around the shitty variables your mods are virtually future proof. The mods I'm working on have been stable for the past 5 versions but that's because I avoid variables like the plague and primarily work on dialogue, which they're not going to change.
Even then, the fix is as simple as swapping the changed variable between versions, which is as easy as finding and replacing all instances using ctrl+f.
You don't need to be a programmer to make mods either, I myself have very little experience so it just boils down to copying and tweaking existing code to suit your needs. Worst case scenario just plug what you don't understand into chatGPT, it honestly just takes a little bit of patience depending on what you want to do.
Just swapping text or removing dialogue is so straightforward anyone could do it.

* Fixing typos the devs refuse to acknowledge
* Removing the use of terms like "jeez", because last I checked Jesus wasn't one of the Seven
* Adding colored text
* Adding more CGs (specifically to items, just like TiTs)
* Minor dialogue inconsistency fixes + a couple extra parsers in some scenes
* Mostly just testing, but I managed to extend Berwyn's dom mechanic the other way around, adding a sub route using the same parser
