It absolutely has a lot of potential. I disagree about the strong stuff, my opinion the game should be first and foremost good as a game, not just porn, otherwise why not just watch videos/pictures or whatever. Also the point of my post was more about me expressing doubt the developer will deliver the game according to the standards they set up themselves in the intro message (in any reasonable amount of time that is), something about "you can stay pure but it's gonna be much harder', while in fact as of now it's impossible i think.

Well, i like games with choice. I love seeing the corruption, but giving in little by little is not the same as getting bombarded left and right with abuse.
Right now the life as a waitress game looks like that. She gets abused from all angles and that makes it less fun for me. You could argue that corruption town is like that, but i'm not sure, it feels less sordid in a way, i think the supporting characters are less "evil". They are assholes, but not so much like the "landlord" asshole. At least for me, i hate that dude

I think this game is actually worse in this regard, Life of the Innocent waitress hides the hard stuff behind many, many many barriers, it unfolds more gradually (given it's an AVG made by pretty much amateurs). In this Corruption Town i was able to get the main character spitroasted by the whole bar, and yet she still plays coy with the richest patron (whom she fucked like 5 minutes ago), so the progression is actually way worse. As for the cast, in Corruption Town it's, well, non-existent for better or worse.

As for the cast, in Corruption Town it's, well, non-existent for better or worse.

well yea the game is a lot newer than LOTIW, and the graphics and the story here are a lot better in my opinion. The problem with LOTIW is that the game is much more grindy, and the story is all over the place. I don't see the stress or the situation that made her choose that, unlike here, it's shown

Absolutely not, that game puts a lot more pressure on the player. This game? I don't know what's the punishment for not paying the rent in time, you can get enough in a couple of days early in, and later on in a single shift. What are the other pressure points? I vaguely remember some other guy extorting the MC's brother but i don't think there are any interactions with him aside from sexual.
As for the art, i think it's ok in both games. Except for male models, in LotIW they are hideous with no exceptions, in this one they can be both ugly and conventionally attractive.

I don't know what's the punishment for not paying the rent in time, you can get enough in a couple of days early in, and later on in a single shift. What are the other pressure points? I vaguely remember some other guy extorting the MC's brother but i don't think there are any interactions with him aside from sexual.

Lets' face it, it's not a factor in both games. In Corruption Town imo it's kinda generic, which is ironically better than whatever the political message the other game has cooked for it.

In theory and may be later on but right now, like i said, paying for the family is piss easy, there are actually no meaningful ways to spend money (except to progress the corruption), the debt arc isn't expressed right now but we'll see how it goes on.

They are step relatives, not related by blood, essentially strangers that the MC has to live with, they're all horny and in position to exploit her. And it's already expressed in gameplay, mostly coming from the stepfather who is also her landlord.

Frankly, i don't give a damn about the story if it's plausible enough, which it seems to be in both games. My point is, one game has it vowen tightly into gameplay, and the other one doesn't.

Well, in my opinion, the gameplay here is better, and that's what makes me prefer this game over the others. The mechanics you have in the waitress here are, in my opinion, the best game made and the easiest to get through in this kind of games i don't love games, making it very grindy with a lot of Repeated days. I hate that in games, this game offers you more offer the new Scene faster, which makes it less boring. Yeah, the waiting minigame is better, it has better action economy, more resource management by the virtue of having 2 resources instead of one lol, clear indicators of your actions and superior upgrade system. Though i must say, i very much liked the bartender minigame in LotIW, much more than the waitress in fact.

Well, it's because waiting is rather boring as it is. I don't like how fast the game progresses in Corruption Town but i prefer to extreme grind of the counterpart. I guess the optimal way to avoid is to add a lot of random events but that is probably too much to ask from tiny teams and single devs.
