Anyone have a post juno save? Bored of the fight after 3 tries, got to the last stage every time but 3 potions is not enough. Too many hits just rng, even if you counter perfectly.

This update features two new scenes, one with Nali, and one with Audra.
If you want to unlock past scenes, use the Chapter Select. It will unlock all scenes up to the point where that chapter begins. Chapter 4 puts you right after the end of 0.8.
I nerfed Juno's fight based on your feedback. Her max HP and attack were reduced, I also increased the player potions to 5.

As mentioned, Juno’s fight was nerfed in 0.8.1.
But anyway, here are some tips for the fight:
The fight is very scripted. In her first phase, she always parries and counters every third turn. Whenever she’s about to counter, use that turn to buff yourself with Hellfire Sword or cast a Tornado. She can’t parry spells.
When she’s enveloped in an ice aura, break it by attacking with your sword buffed from Hellfire Sword or by casting a fire spell. Otherwise, she’ll regenerate all the health she’s lost.
Don’t bother guarding. She attacks before your guard goes up, so you’re just wasting turns. It wasn’t meant to work like that, but in the current state, just ignore guarding.
With the latest changes, you should be able to beat her even without playing perfectly. The fight was never meant to be difficult, but I wanted her to feel like a wall you need to overcome for the narrative. I might have overdone it.

i think i'll wait for version 1.0 release (or after ch 1 complete) i kinda hate have to download a whole game for 1 or 2 scenes, but ik the dev seems to be 1 man with an AI only so it gotta take sometimes (i don't want them to rush it) so i'll keep the notification for this thread
but i'll admit this is unironically my most anticipated game right now, the only thing i dislike so far is how it handle

I was going to ask if the MC remained an evil bitch throughout or if she'd soften up some and find a middle redemptive path, but reading through the thread answered the question for me and I have to sadly conclude that this is not the game for me.
Everyone's different, and the way the one poster expressed the distaste for a hardcore villain protagonist experience was clunky at best, but it's a valid point of view. That sort of thing is to some people's tastes, and it's certainly a valid storytelling choice, but I personally found myself hating her too much to find it enjoyable. Given that she won't change and will actually get worse as it goes farther than the point I stopped, I'd just end up frustrated wanting to see her either get better or get wrecked and it not ever happening.
For me, in particular the problem is that she's so indiscriminate in her cruelty. Yes she's justified for wanting to see justice done for the crimes against her kind, but she gleefully targets people who had nothing to do with those atrocities and might not have even been born yet when it happened. I could understand her not having mercy at first, in full "fuck all those bastards for what they've done!" mode, but that is ultimately not reasonable nor justified and such a path never ends well for anyone. Unfortunately it seems she never learns the lesson that some humans are guilty of crimes against her people and others had nothing to do with it and aren't even aware it happened and thus should be spared. That makes her far too unsympathetic for me to find her enjoyable to play.
Please understand this is NOT a slam on the developer or intended to reflect negatively on the quality of the work. As I said above, unrepentant hard-edged villain protagonist is a valid storytelling choice and this example of it is executed well. There are definitely people who will find this quite appealing, I'm just unfortunately not one of them. Regardless of my personal lack of enjoyment of this sort of story, I definitely recognize that it's well-crafted and solid quality and praise the developer for their skill and talent. Maybe the next thing they do will be something more aligned with my tastes, maybe not, but I'd definitely recommend this to those who do find the subgenre appealing.

Windows Version. I had to go to the Chapters Selection to be able to start the Nali content.
Trying to continue from a Old save Kael was just saying few words but no new event started.

The game was fine until that stupid segment when you play as the guy and have to go trough repetive rpg combat where you can get game over
Is also risky have someone like him who can tell what is happening here too.
Also I do not think that this poor woman deserves such fate.. Even her former husband was more lucky.
