After playing the new Spider-man 2 video game, I went back and rewatched the 90's series. Then I remembered this game that I played an early build of years ago. Was sad to see it abandoned. I went and played it again and saw a bit of new content. I wish it would continue though. It'd be a great way to bring closure to that series with the way it ended.

Technically, the classic comic crossover SECRET WAR is a continuation of the series (unfortunately, there are inconsistencies because it is only in Secret War that Spider-Man should meet Venom, even though he doesn't yet know that it's a living organism)

Is this game dead and forgotten? Or like the dev/community is planning to resurrect this with a new update, because the plot and the gameplay loop was had a sense of progression it's sad to see the game dead
(Edit: i know it has the abandoned tag on it, but I thought/hoped that if there's some plans or activity like community mods update or reverse engineered remaster/remake that can bring the gane back up and sort of wanted to see if the community is still available for the game instead of it being shadow dropped and not getting the audience back)
