This is actually the first I'm seeing people complain about the MC in this way. I generally think that the MC is one of the strong points of the game. in comparison to others He is consistently written, with defined goals and interests. He also doesn't purely think with his dick, in that he generally isn't manipulated by sex. When it comes to the girls, he actually does put a lot of care into how he treats them, setting boundaries and determining what they're comfortable with. It's already been established that Lucy and Victoria are basically up for anything, so he's able to do more with them. In comparison, he's taking things way slower with Sarah because she's not as comfortable with it yet.
I think the dev did a great job not just showing us who the MC is but showing us who he is Not.
If the MC was a douche - he would have just banged the hell out of Catherine when she offered him her virginity.
He actually told her Why he would not take her virginity and did it in a way that allowed her to better understand who he is - Not someone who only thinks with his dick.
I agree - this is a very well written MC.
If someone does not like/accept light Dom/Submission as part of a story, then this is not going to be a good pick for them.
It would be like someone who is a Big NTR/sharing fan coming to this thread and complaining that the MC is not sharing all his women with Brian, and this should be about NTR and sharing instead of D/S.
This is Not that kind of story.

I was not initially into the spanking 'play' - based on how it occurs/is represented in other AVNs, but I found that it fits the story and is implemented well into the MC's relationships with the different women.
I think this AVN has some of the best written light D/S play of any AVN I've played.
It is a part of the story but not the sole focus.
It is applied differently to each of the women based on who they are and how they relate to the MC.
It is Not Harmful, and it is actually a kind of bonding experience for the women in the MC's circle, a shared and consistent experience based on their behavior.
I don't think that Hannah understands yet but when he gave Hannah her first spanking, she was accepting his authority over her as an employee while he was showing her that he would be a 'firm boss' but not an abusive one.
I'm actually looking forward to the first time that Hannah gets spanked with the other women and how that will bring Hannah further into the circle of the MC's women.
As I was writing this, it also dawned on me that there is another spanking we could see that will help a woman like Catherine better understand the MC and his mini-harem.
I could see Alison, the headmistress, note how the MC disciplines his women for making a mistake (for example - during her visit Saturday night to discuss strategy with the MC - their 'date.')
I could then see her choose a time in the future to intentionally make a mistake and present herself for a spanking from the MC, all to show Catherine that this is okay and not the humiliating event she perceives it to be.
She would be able to demonstrate that a woman can be strong and capable while being submissive in certain circumstances, showing Catherine a way forward that will help her to reconcile her upbringing with what she needs to do to find/create a place with the MC.
I think Alison will be an increasingly important addition to the women who support the MC and one of the MC's Ace's, working with him to achieve his goals and offering good consistent counsel, proving herself to be a worthy partner.
