(a) entitled trolls will post negatively because the update didn't have X content or Y content (their personal fetishes)
(b) entitled trolls will post that BaiBai is "milking" somehow
(c) entitled trolls will post that the update was "bad" because something they thought would happen did not...and so that must mean BaiBai is "stupid" or "X" (replace X with any number of low-brow insults) because he didn't write HIS STORY to their expectations.
Sigh.

Even though there is no doubt a lot of effort in them, I think the lewds are the weakest part of Cosy Cafe. And with that I purely mean the visuals. Those honey select animations just break immersion for me and look a bit silly like bunnies going at it with their short repetition cycles. Those scenes where Cosy chose to make multiple non-animated renders were imo hotter and kept me immersed - after all the whole VN happens with non-animated renders and my mind is used to translating it into motions.
I'm not calling Cosy a scammer, but 6 months between releases is a bit much. I've been a subscribestar for awhile now, and this update has been the longest between. I'm just saying, if this is the release schedule going forward, it's not what I initially thought I was joining.And here are mypredictionsguarantees:

It is what it is, I'm afraid. On a 4 month release schedule, if I take a couple of weeks break over Christmas (my first time off in two years of development), then spend a couple of weeks fixing bugs with the new UI, and then make a slightly longer than usual update, you very quickly get up to 6 months. Having said that, I am going to aim to have the next few updates be faster.
Hard disagree! A lot of games on this site take far longer than 6 months for similar or less amounts of content. On top of that, at the start of his break Cosy said the next update would take longer to come out because of the break. And in basically every progress report he has mentioned how long the UI fixes are taking.
But my point is that if anyone is really a subscriber - and not just saying they are like a whole mess of posters here do - then that site is the place to post complaints about subscriber issues, not here. Why would fans of a game who watch its thread on F95 want to see the thread pop up in their Announcements because somebody came to F95 to gripe about issues on a different site? It's like someone going to one restaurant and holding up the line by spending 5 minutes bitching at the hostess because of a bad customer experience at a different restaurant.
I think people realize quite quickly what kind of person a dev is. And you can see it ingame aswell as in the thread that Cosy lives according to values that get increasingly rare in these times.
