I love how supportive Lucy is as a character, she is always there to help MC when ever he needs it, often times without being asked. This game is full of unique and interesting characters, and I think Lucy is a great example of how Cosy can make a seemingly boring archetype (person who loves MC unconditionally) interesting.

Yes indeed. I've said before, Lucy is the moral center of the narrative. Rachel will be redeemed if and when Lucy says she is.
I don't like Rachel at all, the dev did a great job in making her so unlikeable. I can't wait to see how this will be resolved, I just hope it will be funny as well lmao.

I get why people dislike her, but honestly I think she’s written to stir the pot. I’m curious to see if her arc ends with redemption or total chaos.
I thknk she will make a very tearful redemption arc, and I bet she will become the most fervent ally of the MC.
I've always considered her to be the Elmer Fudd of the story. Chasing wabbits and getting outsmarted every time. She's more caricature than character. It's not a bad thing, but it does make it hard for there to be any emotional connection.

She is a character that is not supposed to be taken that seriously, and even then some people already hate her and think she is beyond redemption.
Still I don't think it's weird to not have an emotional connection to her right now as we know next to nothing, we will see when we actually get to know her.

Rachel was indeed a cartoonish secondary villain at first, but imho the concept of her character changed with the plot’s progression. She clearly has some personal issues that have yet to be understood. In this regard the development of her character is somewhat similar to Catherine's. So far, the main message of the game is that everyone (well, okay, almost everyone) deserves a second chance and can find a place where they are welcome (at the cafe, obviously). And so far, it seems Rachel is going to get her second chance, too.
I'm not sure she will be “redeemed”, or that her “new” character will be interesting (and not cartoonish), but I’m sure her story hasn't really started yet.
