I know a little drama is good but, upsetting the apple cart too much with a girl from his past, again, gives me BaDIK vibes, and I actually STOPPED playing the game after that. Yeah I know, that's on me, but I also didn't want to give the next 10 or so years of my life waiting for that game to end.

I don't like seeing characters get upset. I've played a few games in the past where certain issues in the game sting or bother me (I had to take a break for a while after certain scenes in Hillside and even Harem Hotel turned me off a bit for a while with a few things.

The thought of seeing Lucy get more upset than we've seen her irks me. I had no idea the past girl would come into play, and hopefully she's not a conniving bitch or someone that's going to try to steal him away. If by that time he has the main 4 as true girlfriends (only need Sarah for that which I think will happen in .11) and a deeper relationship with Hannah and or Catherine, this outsider chick is going to get watched like an eagle.

I...I just don't like seeing sadness in characters. It might be because of my own mental shit with the bipolar/paranoid schizophrenia bullshit, but, I think if something really sad happened in this game it would probably bother me more than it was meant to, and like Harem Hotel (with Maria's arrest for example or Lin being imprisoned with the High Elf Queen thing) it'll definitely bother me.

Yes that might be too dramatic in comparison and it won't be like the "Acting Lessons fire" bad, but past love interests in VNs don't sit well with me.

I don't mind at all that there's only one or two lewdies per update. There are some games that have none at all for the first 10 or 12 updates, and others that have 10 or 12 PER update.

I think it's just enough.

I think Cosy is doing the sex scenes where it's necessary. The sex scenes match the pacing of the story, and I'm fine with that, and it'll only make the relationships mean more when it does happen.

You want constant porn, go to Chaturbate or Pornhub. Or make your own girls from this game in Honey Select 2 and wear them out.

They're VNs first not over the top porn games.

it's supposed to be a punishment though. and teasing/edging over a long time can make the next release that much more satisfying.

Gloria has a brother, he was supposed to be the heir but she destroyed him and took his place. he could still be alive and, with some help, could take the seat back.

Gloria destroyed her teenage brother when they were younger so that she could take over the family.

We don't know about any male cousins but it is implied that Gloria is so ruthless that anyone, male or female that she felt threatened her ascent to head of family met an untimely accident or death.

Re: Harriet - IMO - anything with Harriet beyond her being a loyal support for her father is a reach...no breadcrumbs that I have seen.

She is a secondary character. Would I Love to see her make the main character screen? Oh Yeah!!

Until then, my Harriet hopes are purely non canon in nature.

she is also said to have destroyed MC's grandfather - same word used - and he was still alive after she was finished with him.

maybe she was supposed to become a chef before she got kicked out of her family ?
or they are just generic decorations as she doesn't have any photos of people she cares about except her sister. friends and family cut her off. her ex boyfriend didn't seem much better. and doesn't seem like she traveled a lot as she had to recover from her situation.

One thing that I was confused about, now that I think about it, was how Akatsuki wanted to go with Sarah instead of Victoria at the mall. Akatsuki has shown a little predilection for cosplay like Sarah. The whole cat thing and all. They might just be bonding.

0.10 was a wonderful update

Happy to see that people are loving Sarah even more, seeing as she is the best girl in the whole story.

Looking forward to a possible sex scene with Akatsuki in the next update. I'm willing to suspend my disbelief for a story where MC moves into town, meets a random girl inside his otherwise locked up/unused restaurant and offers her food in exchange for help and just hands her money without knowing anything about her, but I'm not willing to believe he's been in a house with Akatsuki for more than 2 days without railing her on every table in the dining room twice already.

As for my 2 cents on various topics in the last handful of pages:

Tatoos: Not my thing personally, pretty dependent on character but it can definitely be tastefully without making a character look bad, especially if it matches their personality or path in the story

Piercings: I love nipple piercings, but I definitely don't think they fit on most characters in the story. The one character who will be getting them is definitely a shock, I thought for certain it would be Vicky because she's the only one I could see doing it with things as they are, but I'm sure it'll be done well when it happens.

Harriet/Sam/Other girls who aren't main LIs: Attractive characters I don't get to spank? Sad times. But it's also nice to establish female characters in the game who aren't antagonists and also get to play a role that doesn't involve getting stuffed by the MC. Also, I especially love the dynamic between Akari and the MC, the trash talk that always turns into flirting is so damn well written.

Also, just one last bit. Regardless of how the story develops, I'm 100% certain it'll be great. Cosy Creator got here by writing a story that people talk about, seemingly, more than the porn thats in the game. They've done a fantastic job at guiding the characters along individual stories in a way that feels pretty natural for them. However it goes forward, and wherever the characters end up, I'm sure it'll all make sense as the story progresses.

Wow, a lot of pages in the last few days, lot to digest. But I still have some thoughts so hope I'm not repeating anything discussed previously.

First, the character bios page. I kind of wish that the LIs that are current, meaning pretty much Lucy, Victoria, Akatsuki and Sarah, (maybe Catherine, Alison, Hannah and Misaki) would be the only ones featured on that page and the rest of the characters be in the side characters bios. This would mean we wouldn't know that Rachel is a future LI, or that Akari is a future LI, and that once they became a LI, they would switch over to that page.

This is also shows that Annabelle will not be a LI, so it won't be a surprise when it's discovered in the story that she's not. So now super groupie Sam is not one, but we could have always held out hope that she would become one (the MC loves his older women). Just my thoughts on it.

Second, couldn't the MC bring up that Gloria shouldn't be recognized as the head of the Russell family? That the Founding Family rules are sexist and that only males are the ones that lead the respective families And what's with her husband, I assume wasn't a Russell in the first place (keep it in the family?), so he changed his name to Russell but why is he allowed to have multiple wives? He's not the head, he's probably just Gloria's bitch.

Finally, why should the MC trust any of the other families? His grandfather had a wife from each family divorce him, so it wasn't Gloria alone who destroyed the grandfather, it was all the families in a planned effort. Mr. Gilbert must have had an aunt or cousin that was married to Mr. Fletcher, so wouldn't he question what happened? I assume the rest of the non founding family wives were gold diggers, so no wealth, no more point in staying. I'm trying to remember, was there the one wife, the MC's grandmother, still in the picture? I replayed the whole VN recently and still can't recall if mentioned at all. Anyway, the Founding Families are a bunch of psychos, no honour really, showing when they guy appealed to get his money back from the Russell's and the Russell's expected to get away with it. Would Mr. Hamilton vote for the Russell's favour if he thought it would benefit him and not actually think of fairness and justice?

Sorry, just rambling. This VN is very enjoyable and makes you think after playing, and enjoyable to play again and again. Looking forward to the next update, the sooner the better (no pressure).

IIRC, Cosy has said that there's a chance for a girl to be moved from side to main, but I think you actually bring up a good point about the Character Bios. Since there's a pretty big difference between where some of the gilrs, maybe their could be a section specifically for current girlfriends on the Main Love Interests page. It doesn't really change anything, bur I think it would be neat to see more and more girls slowly being added to the GF section.

The MC at this point isn't really in a position to be making any sort of demands. Also, I could be misremembering but I don't think there's an actual rule preventing women from being the head. Even if the MC was able to bring it up and somehow lead it to a vote, even if she was voted out, she would most likely continue to lead from the shadows. We already know that she removed people to get into the position she's in now, so I doubt she would just lie down and accept it.

We don't know what happened to his grandfather exactly. Gloria could have started or spread horrible rumors about him or planted evidence of some sort of wrong doing that made his wives leave him. Also the MC at this point doesn't really trust any of the founding families anyway. He has his opinion on the heads. He knows that Gloria and Mr. Hamilton are awful. He knows that Catherine's dad seems like a decent guy, but he doesn't have the actual ability to lead and is pretty much owned by Hamilton. The only one that he kinda respects is Mr. Gilbert, but he's not even working with him currently. At the end of the day, he knows that they each have their own motives. The only people that the MC trusts are his girls.
