That picture has me racking my brain trying to think of where it could be. Looks like a house of some kind, I was thinking maybe MC gets invited to the Bennet house (the one owned by another family) for a meeting, but it is not opulent so probably not a founding family house. Doesn't look like a school kinda thing so probably not Misaki's office.

So my guess is that its either Elizabeth's apartment, as we know she doesnt live with her mother so she must have an apartment in the city, and she owes MC some information about his grandfather, so maybe she invited him to her house.
Or its the Bennetts apartment, maybe MC gets invited to their apartment by Catherine or her dad? who knows?/ I cant think of anything else.

Either way I think it looks pretty great, having made some environments in Honey Select 2 I find it even more impressive, studio neo is hard to use haha. I am really excited for the next update

My guesses in order would be: Elizabeth's place or Rachel's place. Beyond that, IMO it's most likely Annabelle's place, or Misaki's.


Some common points:

• It codes like an apartment, not a house. But it could be part of a bigger home.
• The structure feels tight, not lavish, so I doubt the owner/occupant is a primary member of a founding family.
• We need a reason to be there. Our perspective is usually +/- a room of where Jack (MC) is.

Hey guys, it's short dev log time.

Once again, I'm happy to report a productive couple of weeks. I've completed around 250 more renders, all of the animation for the update (though this one is fairly light on animation), and I'm currently nearing the end of the map creation process that I mentioned last time, with only a few more hours left to do on it.

Here's a little sneak peek. I think my map making abilities have really come on over the last couple of years, but now it's making me want to spend a bunch of time improving the main maps!

I wonder if any can guess where this is?

Anyway, that about does it for this one. I predicted a while ago that the update would be late April to mid May, but it's definitely looking like it's gonna be at the end of that range (mid May), meaning there will be a couple more of these short dev logs before it's ready. I had a rough few months in and out of hospitals, which was why I left. Been lurking for a few weeks. Couldn't resist commenting on that post.

I wish it was, and so far it is, but I have a couple of long-term issues I'm dealing with (not cancer) so at least doctors (several of them) are going to be in my life now. We'll see what happens. Just turned 50 yesterday, so life only gets harder.

Enjoy all of the girls, the tone/frame of the game, and the founding family arc. Brings a bit of aristocratic feels to it. The behaviour of the girl on the campus (Samantha?) was a great way to make one really feel being of noble blood and the head of the 5th founding family.

Bit out of the loop. Are the updates always going to be ~5 month intervals from now on?

Curious about Hannah's sexual nature, especially after the Kings game.

Catherine holds lots of potential considering that she could have the same heart of gold her father Regi has.

Nope, I'm aiming for them to be faster than 5 months usually. This one would naturally be slow just because of the length: it's one of the longest I've done. But that's been compounded this time by me taking a break over Christmas, and then spending a bunch of time bug fixing on the new UI. Normally I would aim to do an update of this length in about 4 months.
