I just started playing this game, and the MC’s past and his relationship with his grandfather really remind me of the MC from one of my favourite mangas, Kono Oto Tomare. I don’t suppose the dev is active here to know if he ever read that.

I haven't. The anime has been on my watchlist for years, but I've never gotten around to it. The very beginning of my inspiration for CC was actually Clannad, though it has changed so much since then that it's not really recognisable any more.

Well, great job anyway, I love your dialogues, they just flow smoothly. Clannad, sigh, I bawled like a child to that one, so I hope that didn’t influence this story much lol. But I genuinely recommend Kono Oto Tomare, the anime is great but the manga is a masterpiece, and there are real similarities between your MCs past and how their grandfathers influenced them, so it would be interesting for you to see.

Depends on how you define netori. Personally, I don't consider this as netori, because netori refers to stealing a girl who is already in a relationship with someone else. Hannah was never in a relationship with Brian, so for me, it's a no.

Personally I wouldn't say so. She was never actually Brians girlfriend. Arranged to get married after school by their parents, but that's it.

You could probably really stretch to consider it Netori, but let's be honest, Brian deserves it if it is. Realistically though, no, it's not. They have an arranged marriage and aren't in an actual relationship, and with all likeliness have had zero real contact outside of the "friend" group at school in which Hannah usually looks like a hostage.

I think stealing would be a better description. As the other's have said, if there's any relationship between them, it's one-sided on Brian's part ... and from everything we've seen, that relationship is one of an object that he considers his, not a person he wants to like him.
To summarize, you're not stealing his girl, you're stealing the object he thinks he owns, but never did.
EDIT: I forgot, Vicky falls into that category too, so the deed has already been done and completed once.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's netori. I was rather curious about how others see it or if it fits definition of netori. The only netori (for now) I could think of would be Harriet. Dev notes don't precise, if it's any kind of "ntr", but I doubt it'll go this way.

I don't mind stealing wives and girlfriends, but only when it's rescuing the girl in question from an abusive or otherwise horrible relationship.
If it's a happy and healthy relationship I'd happy to be part of a bi threesome. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of bi male protags, certainly not in the harem space anyway.
