Although, and maybe I'm an exception, I would absolutely play this particular AVN without the explicit sex. The recent scenes with Cat and Hannah, together and alone for example have been some of if it not the hottest in the game so far, and they focus on maledom without being explicitly pornographic, at least by AVN standards - though this isn't really here nor there towards my argument, just personal opinion and preference.

Bare butts getting spanked is explicit pornography, lol. What we're used to here is a lot different than the normie world. nudity without sexual contact is something a lot of people consider explicit, with 'just boobs' being considered softcore.

And then those same people turn a blind eye to the absolute degeneracy that is handholding and headpatting, and allow that depravity even in movies for children!

You can't make CC without explicit sex because none of the interesting bits pass the weird morality standards of the normie world. Once you've gotten that label... might as well have penetration because it doesn't make it any more explicit.

I didn't mean to imply that the lewds weren't important in an adult story marketed with lewd content. That's the adult part of Adult Visual Novel. Just like no one would read Colleen Hoover without the steamy bits, people definitely expect some sex in their AVNs.

With that said though, there's a huge market for completely sexless, PG-13 Visual Novels out there, so to imply no one would read these stories without graphic sex is kinda missing the point. The Visual Novel is a storytelling medium, nothing more/

I would argue the readership of AVN's and VN's is not the same, there are maybe big overlaps but its just different expectations.

About the second point: Yeah i agree and thats why i disagree with the other posters point too, its not needed to have penetration scenes all the time and what happened in the last update very much counts as lewd content imo

I personally dislike the usual hs avn lewd progression (aka handjob -> blowbjow -> titjob -> whateverjob -> ...) until they finally have sex but thats imo not the case here, the scenes feel natural and have a good and realistic progression without feeling awkward why they dont finally take the step while no other relationship development happens anyway lol. Thats not the case here, imo the relationship development is great and goes hand in hand with the lewd progression and feels good.

Sometimes im confused about harem fans, they demand that every single girl is a virgin but at the same time get pissed when the girls dont instantly spread their legs lol

If these were porn games you might have some semblance of a coherent point, the problem is they're not porn games. It's literally in the description.

They're visual novels. Aimed at adults. Hence why they're called Adult Visual Novels.

There are absolutely porn games that give you what those people seem to be looking for, but most visual novels are not porn games.

I'm gonna assume you're not also taking the first sentence as an actual opinion, since I've explained that like 3 times now.

So my point is "incoherent" because "ackshually you used the wrong name " The name doesn't matter at all, the point still stands, games like Away From Home and Heart Problems, that revolve almost entirely on the sex are still AVNs, and people are allowed to enjoy them without being told to "go watch porn".

If you like elaborate stories in your adult games, thats great, I also enjoy good stories. However, there's absolutely room in this medium for more porn-centric products, and your own prefered story/porn ratio is not the golden standard that dictates what people should or shouldn't enjoy.

On the other hand, as regards Catherine...
I can’t stand her attitude at all. She is clearly the one I like the least currently
I know that it’s written like this and that we will see an evolution
But even after meeting her sisters and where we saw a softer side of her she continues to have this disdainful attitude and even more with Hannah. Whether it’s his behavior during Rachel’s punishment or even worse playing with Hannah’s fears and insecurities as if belittling her was going to raise her further.

In short, once again a great update and I look forward to the next one

I will admit I am biased with Catherine as she's slowly becoming my favorite and you can already see how her attitude has changed from where we met her to now, it's just that both of them see each other as a direct opponent rather than being on team Fletcher properly.

If you think about it they have much in common like the need for this to work to improve their personal situation. I think their punishment together, this chapter was important to begin making them see each other as a partner rather than an enemy I specially liked when they were all seating in the couch in silence after apologizing.

There's still a lot to do before they become properly team Fletcher but I also liked the detail of telling them that if they join it will have to be the both of them.

We will see by the time Hannah gets focused on how Catherine reacts when we all know all the details of what's going on with Brian, I truly believe that by then she will become a close friend for Hannah.

I completely agree with you. And I really liked this sweet side of Catherine with her sisters, she was really adorable. We also see it when she is alone with the MC.

She is making progress and will continue to progress further

It’s not that she isn’t completely Team’s Fletcher yet that bothers me but in the current state of the VN, I cannot say that she's my favorite.

I'm doing another playthrough from the start (trying to be good and wait for the public release of the update...)
I hit something that really bothered me. On Sept 17th the MC has the girls escort Sarah to the cafe while he goes to grope Miss Takamura on the train.
What. The. Fuck.
At this point he has no idea that the stalker isn't a threat, and he knows Sarah is terrified. Instead of escorting her he... goes and gets some fun feeling up a woman when he's got three (at that point) he can feel up all he wants.
I'm biased because I'm not a fan of the Miss Takamura content to begin with, but when I realized what was happening that was a seriously jarring moment for me.
Overall love the game, but if ever there was a place for a choice to skip some 'hard' content and go with Sarah or go to the train... that should be one.
