Hey guys, it's dev log time again!

As always after an update, I want to start with a warm welcome and thanks to all of the new people that have joined with the release of version 0.13. Thank you for your support! I do one of these dev logs every other Sunday, so you'll be hearing from me semi-regularly if you stick around.

Speaking of the update, how was it? I hope you all enjoyed it!

I don't have a tonne to report in this dev log, though of course work on the next release (version 0.14) is already underway. So far I've finished the detailed scene plan and I'm currently in the process of writing it in full.

I must say, even though it's very early in the process, I'm really looking forward to this next one! It has a few things I've been building towards for quite a while now, plus we're finally in the run up to the first time skip, which will lead into a whole lot of exciting character development over the in-game Christmas period. Other than that, I've also spent a bit of time working on bug fixes for a few issues that came up with 0.13.0, and around a week ago I updated the release page to 0.13.1. You'll find patch notes at the bottom of it if you're interested.

Finally, just a quick note on the renders attached: as usual at this point in the process I don't have any actual 0.14 renders to tease you with yet, so I made a couple of customs just for this dev log using an outfit I made for something else - I thought it turned out pretty great on Vicky!

Most of my next two weeks will be spent writing and updating all of my graphical mods again, though I'm hoping the latter won't be a long and painful process like it was last time - I plan on doing it at the start of every update from now on so that I can stay a little closer to the cutting edge.

This is interesting, if we are entering the run up to the first time skip I wonder if we are going to fix Hannah situation with Brian in these next chapters or if this is something that we will have to solve after the time skip happens

Didn't Hannah's father give the MC until the end of the year to do something? If I'm remembering it correctly then it'll probably be before the skip.

My theory is that it's not the MC that'll be the catalyst for that change, Brian will. He's gonna find some evidence of the MC foolling around with her (maybe Mika or Chloe will see the writing and tell him, maybe someone will get access to the MC's phone (remember his laptop password was 1234)) and he'll either hurt her or scare her enough to the point she calls the MC (as he had her promise to do) and that'll break the betrothal.

Mika's more likely to say something than Chloe, who I feel is starting to slowly slide away from Mika and Brian. Catherine said Brian isn't stupid enough to do something, but I think if pushed beyond what he can tolerate, he might.

The laptop password is easy enough to crack (12345) but I also have a feeling someone is going to take over doing the bookwork for the cafe and maybe change the password, and that someone could be Lucy.

Mr. Gilbert didn't give him until the end off the year.
his daughter Henriette merely speculated that her father is in a wait and see approach,and that if the MC wanted to actually make a case for becoming engaged Hannah he'd have to show his worth before the end of the year.

what it basicly means as long as the MC doesn't offset the balance the mr.Gilbert is trying to create/maintain he will just watch him and obviously judge him,for you know becoming a new faction to create that balance he desires.

I personally expect that Hannah will be more focus after a time skip until he pissed of Gilbert long enough and he still needs something on Gloria aswell. Would make sense the focus will be then. Keeping the Hamilton faction happy is his main concern now because without them he won't stay long.

This skip skips to December so that plotline will probably be resolved then. It's classic AVN writing where you tease future update plans in dialogue.

The smile/model shapes haven't change at all, it's purely an effect of the lighting. Though I did have to correct all of the models for colour with the new graphics, so stuff like her lips not being glossy has changed.

I noticed it on all three girls in that scene, but for some reason it looked new to me. Now that I know it's lighting based I guess I won't get weirded out anymore.

Reminder that when you start a new game, you get the option to start from any previous update.

Yep, as mentioned above: If you start a new game and go past the part where you enter your name, you will be given the option to start from a specific update. All of the old gallery/bio content that you've skipped over will then unlock when you get to the afterword.
