Stable space honestly isn't that bad to rent, if you're in a country that's got the space for it/a horse culture already in place. My sister did it for a few years after my parents' moved to take care of her old horse in his dotage, and she wasn't exactly raking in dough. It's a few hundred bucks a month, so not cheap, but if you prioritize it, definitely doable for middle class folks.

Well, the criterion is that she appears to be 30-50. Alison's a bit of a stretch here, but if you factor her demeanor into the "appears to be," I think she could fit--she certainly doesn't seem old, but she does seem mature.
Alison is far from a milf, I doubt she is even close to 30 yet. She may have a couple years on Hana but I doubt it's much. If she was that old, she would have been "forced" to marry way before to someone else, not Brian who is fucking 18. All them higher-up founding kids are engaged early.

She's 27, which I'd call "close to 30," but of course YMMV. I think her maturity compared to the other LIs adds a few years, in a good way. So yeah, I think she manages "appears to be 30," if a young-looking 30.
I admit I didn't know her age, but I expected her around to be 25ish. So not that far off in either direction, hard to tell with some HS characters.

I like her but I just wish to see her, if not rebelling, at the very least protesting her situation (not just in the privacy of Cafe). Unless I misremember, her family doesn't owe anything to Brian's other than promising a bride. So she doesn't have to play the obedient housewife she's been playing (to Brian). I understand that she feels responsible for her father's decision, but you know, there's a lot in between being %100 obedient and rebelling like her sister.
