She could just be one in a long line of Rachels all raising single daughters for the purpose of propagating some sort of quasi amazon agenda of man hate. But given the unlikely odds someone with so much bile against men would get laid and produce a child to begin with it's far more likely that it's something that happened post Rachel.

MC's grandfather has been treated as an unusual exception in terms of everything that's happened to him. Yea we know that Families can have divorces, but that they just don't. That divorce removes children from being Family.
My guess is that she was a teenage girl in love with an older man. A rich and powerful man who could give her anything she wanted. And it isn't even technically an affair what with founding families being polygamous. So she must have felt it was all a fairy tale.
Not every shizo has a tragic backstory. Some people are just born evil. I know of one such example (personally) where her husband sin was... he died. We used to be friends before that tragedy and all the bullshit that followed. Tho I don't remember if Cosy has said that her father is around or not.
I mean how would you call someone who freely admits that they got hitched early, popped up a kid, then left that kid to be raised by servants while they enjoyed the high-life of yachts and travel and silicone boobs? And is now shocked, that her child doesn't much care about her, not to mention going along with every implied insult to said child by her family. Like, I like Lilly, honestly the MC needs a bit of a Lily analogue in his harem, but she is a bit dumb and she at least was a gold digging bimbo.
Oh, in the real world absolutely. As I said, there are no tragic backstories or redemption arcs in real life. No bittersweet tears of forgiveness and gradual healing. Only evil and the untermench that are imbued in it. But equally, the way this game has been headed I just have a feeling that its not going to dump something as dark as that on us.
Honestly, I wouldn't call it as clear cut. Again, this reminds me a lot of medieval nobility. Living in a structured system can really change how you conceptualize emotions.
I agree with you, the Alison date was a let down. She is playful yes but ultimately won´t challenge the MC in any meaningful way, same as the other girls. All is cosy. Time to look for something more interesting.

I disagree with you. While if you were looking for dangerous sex, and stuff, yeah it was a let down. However, she is trying to get her SISTER out of trouble first, that is her priority, not her getting plowed. So, until Hannah gets her situation fixed, and the MC graduates school, I don't see Alison's story getting a huge jump in sex progression. I like confident women, that is my thing. I have been onboard with Alison as my favorite since I learned she was a LI.
IIRC for 400 years. That would put them way past the Medieval age. Early Modern period nobility, more likely. Their actual structure resembles more early ones, when noble houses were the actual power behind the state. Of course it's not really a 1:1 comparison - European Nobility was insular (no commoners allowed, even by marriage and marrying a commoner was usually a way to get out of the noble class) and definatley did not keep harems. Still pretty inbred, somewhat resembling British power block politics from the early modern period (they are essentially a House of Nobles, just with 5 nobles allowed to vote).
And to add on top of that all the suggestions for branching paths that people have requested, I don't think people expect Cozy to sleep or eat over the next year. All of these types of additions and corrections take time away from the current story. We are currently at 2 days an update which puts in game new years at approximately forty-five updates from this one.
I agree in regards to Sarah not being my favorite and would probably put her lower on my list of current and future LIs. That said I understand we are in the minority with that idea and this is a Harem game where each LI needs their time to shine and have a developed story.
