I have a problem with the petnames mod in the new version 0.5.5. It doesn't seem to work properly. It's kinda weird though, because I think these should be defined in the mod. View attachment 4199425

Pet Names mod is the most new version incompatible mod there is because it replaces a whole entire block of 2 thousand lines worth of code lol. I could've modified each line one by one but that would've taken forever. I could've asked chatgpt to do it for me but it's sticktly non nsfw.

Yeah those macros are defined in the mod, the dev must've changed the original macro in the update, that would be the only reason why it doesn't work

Make sure you start from scratch this time
1. Download the Modloader zip
2. Unzip it to it's own folder
3. Add my mods folder
4. Add KittyPatcher 0.1.4
5. Rename CourseOfTemptation-Modloader to CourseOfTemptation.html
6. Run KittyPatcher
7. Open the HTML
Make sure you're using 0.5.4 or higher. older versions won't work. Newer versions may or may not work but they will probably work better

Can you spell this out more? I always choose being a virgin, in which case the BFF seems always to be into Open Relationships. Is there a difference in other cases?

It is DoL-like, just more vanilla. It does have a lot of content already, but if you compare it to DoL it obviously has a lot less. This game is in development for around a year now. DoL has been around for ages. The dev is really active though and listens to the community a lot. Just recently, because of the introduction of KittyPatcher and Modloader, a little modding community was formed, which will bring more content to the game in the future too. So if you're asking, if you can savely start playing this game without getting bored quickly, I would say you definitely can.

It's just a monthly update. Monthly updates are usually smaller. This one in particular is probably smaller because 0.6, which is one of the big roadmap updates, will most likely be released this month as well.

I tried this and it did not work for me. Step by step. I have CoT-ModLoader-v0.5.4f-v2.21.0 from the games discord. I don't know what to download and how to inject it myself. Maybe the problem with that file. It works fine by itself but KittyPatcher just overrides it. Thank you for providing me with instructions.

Something happened which I thought was borderline hilarious.

Some classmate called me asking for a date. I looked up his info, and it said his sexual orientation as "gay". So I went to his place and we watched the movie and such. And we went from spooning to...actual sex. With me. As a straight female character in this game.

Don't know if this is a bug, or my female character in this game was just so tempting for him despite him being gay. ha.

The classmate could be deep in the closet, not still ready to accept himself, just trying to satisfy his parents aspectations or simply exploring.. i know many people married and with children that discovered later their liking..

That is talking about RP causes about his behavior..
Dunno if a bug, but there're also many straight that exploring on the same side also..

It's a huge River Rat extension. You can work there now as a waiter and over time influence the owner to make certain changes to the place. You can also become a manager of that place over time and can basically turn it into a tiddy bar or something as far as I know. Also many smaller additions I think.
I don't know when it comes out, but dev said it's almost done and will most likely become early access at some point this month.

Could be. I looked at his inclinations and "Loner" and "Nerd" were 2 of them. And it said I took his virginity. So between being horny and a bit high, maybe he just decided to go for it. I know when I was in college there were people horny enough to pretty much nail anything that moved.

I just RP'ed it by keep saying, "But..but..I thought you were gay?" And he would just keep hissing me and fondling me until I just gave into my feelings and let it happen.

I personally would like see other parts implemented sooner of it..

To represent pregnancy (and its result ) in a somewhat realistic and coherent manner would need so much work...there is just a lot of other stuff that would make much more sense to implement first.
