The River Rat job update went into early access yesterday.Since when can you work at the River Rat? I totally missed that!
Glad to know that I did not miss the job in the recent update you can get here. Being retarded is not that bad unless you feel it...The River Rat job update went into early access yesterday.
uuhhh isn't that what this toggle is?Now *that's* hyperbole. You can barely get raped in this game even if you are actively trying to.
On a more serious note, I'm not sure why this game doesn't have a toggle for the noncon/dubcon-like content, along with the many toggles it does have; I suspect historical reasons. For roleplay, consider enabling history and going back when you accidentally walk into an event you don't want; that's probably the least immersion-breaking way.
here are the release notes for early accessDoes anyone have the changelog for the next update?
Seems fun, we might become a findom by teasing them to buy more. Thanks for the changelog btwhere are the release notes for early access
- The River Rat has been expanded with a new complete career path
- Start as a River Rat server, serving tables and earning tips based on how quickly you respond to customers and whether you undertake any of their special requests
- With good performance comes more tables to oversee, more pay, and more opportunities for tips
- After proving yourself as a server, be promoted to bartender to sling drinks for tips and help supervise the servers
- Work your way up to the manager position and be able to set the direction of the bar by choosing from a range of upgrades
- Upgrading the River Rat will alter the demographics of its clientele and may even unlock unique events
- As a server, choose to be either flirty or professional. Cultivating a certain kind of atmosphere will not go unnoticed, however, and will gradually alter the expectations of the customers and lead to uniform changes
- Choose to comply meekly with customer requests to build Submission skill, or build Dominance skill by teasing them or convincing other servers to fulfill their requests
- Around a hundred new events added
- Employee discounts for meals now apply to the River Rat and QuickieBurger locations
- Favoriting people now has an effect on their odds of being featured in events or becoming crushes
- When being prompted for a reaction to an NPC that you haven’t established a relationship with, you’ll often see an indication when they match your character’s turnons or turnoffs
- NPCs that your character finds attractive will be indicated in the People display with a new icon
- Your character’s turnons and turnoffs can now be reconsidered, with a one week cooldown
- Fixed hotkeys still working while dialog boxes are open and some rare save database bugs (contributed by majou)
- Added new options for autosave intervals, plus the option to autosave at all
- Gloryholes have been slightly refactored to allow the player to choose whether they want to be in the giving or receiving role
- Partly implemented birthdays. They don’t do much yet, but a few events around them will be added
- Added a bunch of new books (contributed by Meat Glacier)
- Many fixes and tweaks
The only problem with that, from the perspective of someone who is all about the non-con, is that "No Warning" option there does, in fact, still warn you. You still get that yellow text about "you feel like you might not be in control if you let this go any further" or whatever it is, and the magic escape buttons still exist.
You can't, to my knowledge. It's a foreshadowing message introduced in 0.5.3; mentioned in changelog as "A new bulletin board message hints at a future storyline (contributed by Meat Glacier)". There is no followup for now.Does anybody know how to trigger the chain of events related to the bulletin board guy who says it wants to have sex at the very least once a day with every person on average until they graduate?
I appreciate the help
You could open the html file in notepad and remove it. Literally just ctrl+f "you feel like you might not be in control" and axe the whole line. I'm pretty sure the mechanics of non-con sex are still functional regardless of the warning, but I could be wrong. The only problem with that, from the perspective of someone who is all about the non-con, is that "No Warning" option there does, in fact, still warn you. Some events were changed from early versions to make them less rapey. I think the city bathroom one for instance. You could open the html file in notepad and remove it. While i don't have a preference for non-con in and of itself, i do like having a PC that will 'skirt the line' i.e. the seductive virgin that never actually puts out. Without any non-con, there is no line to skirt as it's impossible to cross that line.Even if there was a mod that restored the old non-con content, it'd all be the MC having things done to them, and not the MC doing things to NPCs, because no one has written those events or deemed them worthy of inclusion.
I don't care about the former case at all (but I'm sympathetic to those who do), I want to play as a predatory MC, and it sounds like that's not going to happen without another writer onboard.
The streaking at night, especially the part with the Campus Police still is a bit lame with not so high replayability after 2-3 nude adventures outside. I would also say that making the campus police guy get handsy would be a bit uninspired and too obvious.More than Campus Police giving you a slap on the wrist for walking around naked, anyway.
