In fact, none of those mods have been updated for more than 2 months (October or so was the last one that was updated). Otherwise, there are about 30 mods, but some joined the team to develop the game faster.

How do I change the chat topic. When I try to chat with people it usually says "You chat about pop culture stuff" and usually they're not interested in it. I assume its a generic line and when I become closer to people they'll reveal more about what they like...but I figured I'd ask

I would not critisize the time it takes to get promoted but rather the amount of repeatable boring stuff while dooing so. Of course in real life the normal way to work in a bar means that most people you serve say "Thanks" in a more or less friendly or polite way. But in a game there should be something happening worth mentioning most of the times. Apart from the sexual stuff there could be flirting, maybe asome joking (with a little push to mood and maybe friendship?), lewd remarks or praise of beauty and so on. Groping tits as the "basic sexual" act is a bit rough due to the lack of verbal attacks . By the way, if I am not mistaken there is no ass slapping, the classic way to treat waitresses in bars?
Yeah, the pregnancy mod worked in the 0.6.0e version, but looks like it's broken in the 0.6.0f version, sadly.
Man, what a gem game, i know it's lacking more content depth and consequences (Reputation system?) for your actions, but it has a solid foundation.

Does the game have any means of preventing pregnancy, such as condoms or pills? because I never found the only way to prevent it and enjoy it outside or force it?

As long as you don't use mods there are no pregnancies yet as far as I know.
