Degrees of Lewdity has a very distinct interface and feel to it to the point where if something tries to organize itself in the same way it'll be immediately obvious.

Simple, DoL is one of the few games that realised the "lifesim porn game" ideas to a very good degree, with good implements / mechanics and an unique angle. (Tho Too Grindy is still a big problem)
I don't even know there is another in this "genre" doing as well as DoL.
No matter how good your idea is, execution is the king.
Why is Baldur's Gate 3 so well-loved even it didn't bring anything new to the CRPG genre? Besides bear sex, It perfected everything we love in this kind of games.

I think it's fair comparing it to DoL since it shares some aspects. It's even more akin to DoL now that I know the game has contributors - something many games have but DoL utilizes very well. The latest update says "A massive thanks to the contributors who added so much to this update. Give them a pat on the back if you see them!" Crediting contributors would help knowing who to pat.
I agree with others that there seems no direction other than "you're in college!" As I said before my playthrough was repetitive, though it might due to playing in a style that wasn't integrated yet (I was a prude). I feel the more contributors this game can garner the more it'll be something players return to regularly. At the moment the scope seems ambitious for one person.

Work at the Quickie Burger in town. It takes a while but you'll get raises, first to $9, then to $11. Then after an event you just keep at it and you'll get the final raise to $15 per hour.
It's arguably just a stepping stone to what's arguably the biggest moneymaker - streaming. Whether you stream regularly or as a cam model, you'll start out with paltry takings, but once you start investing into better streaming equipment you'll start making money hand over fist.
Futanari, also the word used for hermaphrodite for japanese, are just that.
While trans doesn't quite have both genitalia.
This is just completely wrong. BG3 is a massive step forward for the genre that up until 2023 was represented by the tired ass Obsidian games (some even call Disco Elysium a cRPG sweet lord):

In the same vein, DoL was a step forward for the life sim genre, removing the Sims primary needs bullshit in favor of meaningful stats like Control/Trauma/Stress etc. that actually mattered for the reactivity and the kind of interactions and experiences you had, not to mention bolstering the main theme of non-con/survival. That in addition to working in an admittedly bizarre but initially rather exciting turn-based sex system instead of the usual static uninteractive scenes most games in the genre had.
And here comes this game reverting the best change DoL has ever had, bringing back the primary needs so you have to constantly clickity-click on the showers/restroom/canteen etc.
I genuinely don't understand the point. These are not difficult to deal with, they're not tied to any interesting gameplay scenarios, they're extremely tedious.
In DoL the simple act of traveling to another location, depending on the time of day, presented certain risks (getting R-worded mainly) and since the game basically borrows seemingly entire design documents from DoL, it has a similar thing where there's a small chance of activating random encounters upon entering a location except here you don't live in a Lovecraftian rapetown so these encounters only add to the overall tedium.

Well gave this a shot for a couple hours, and I gotta ask, do the systems in this game actually back any gameplay elements, or is it just a sandbox you're supposed to roleplay with?
There's so many meters that I couldn't really get any reaction out of, and that's if I could even get myself into a situation where they even stayed where I wanted them. The temporary meters like pain, humiliation, and arousal drop like rocks. I pissed myself in the middle of a crowded building, maximizing my humiliation meter, and then I take a walk to another location and I'm already over it. I couldn't maintain any level of arousal unless I had zero release, which seemed to have no consequences. No NPC ever seems to reference events, and you don't seem to gain any reputation. Nobody reacted me wandering around with stained clothing and a visible erection throughout the day. NPCs taking notice of you just seems exist to very lightly flavor the scene in that instant.
The inclinations barely seemed to come up. I was expecting them to be more prominent, but I feel like if they were hidden from me, I wouldn't even be able to tell that they're on.
Unless someone REALLY likes to just grind things out, I'm not really seeing what's the downside of just cheating to max out your skills and seeing whatever you can find. No NPC or event seems to really direct your character in any direction, so the only thing that would make your character dom/sub/exhibitionist/promiscuous or whatever is to just force your character repeatedly into situations until you run over the skill number wall. This is a particularly big roleplaying fail I feel.

First of; This game is weirdly addictive, been playing it for all of yesterday.
Secondly; Is there a way to trigger the Arcade "event"? Hints just say to go to the arcade or that someone at the lounge might "know" but no luck so far. My gaming skill is 6 if that matters?

Game with others in the dorm lounge until someone makes you wager, say you can't pay it, then they'll offer kissing as a wager instead. Lose, get your snogging on, and then they'll tell you about the arcade wagering events. Requires 2 exhibition and 2 inhibition, and said events have a hefty cooldown so you can't see them back to back.

I tried to as well, but after 30 minutes I gave up trying. The name will grow on you though!

There is a lot of content. So many possibilities.
If you dont like the grind, then activate Cheats in options. Raise your stats and it will unlock all events.
Inclinations change the gameplay slightly.
For example " Masochist ". Normally getting spanked will only raise the "pain" stat and MC might start crying from too much pain. But after getting that Masochist inclination the MC will start also getting "arousal" stat. It can even bring the person to an orgasm.

You get inclinations by repeating certain actions.
For example when your Arousal is maxxed out during sex (or masturbation) you get an option to orgasm immediately or an option to try not to orgasm and delay your orgasm for later (success depends on your Willpower).
If you do "orgasm now" often enough you will get inclination "Hair Trigger". If you always try to delay orgasm then you will get "Takes Patience" orgasm.
So does the roommates girlfriend do anything except the first encounter? It says that i will hear them have sex but nothing is happening after 3 weeks.
