In the milkshake storyline we do know there's a sort of rich upper-class society which could have dirt on us, there's also the Greek houses but we don't know much about them yet.
Joining in a bit with what you say, the problem is that he had a vision until about 4 months ago when he came on Patreon to tell him "the rules of Patreon" and so on! (violations among other things... are prohibited.) The idea at the beginning went to the trash because of that. And if you played it from the beginning you know that it had pressure tones, like leading to prostitution, drugs, harassers for your streams while playing or chatting, like when you went up to the other platform to the racy ones and so on. Like the pain he had due to situations that were intended to be reduced by reducing exposure or how he intended to reduce pain with "drugs".
But from that moment on, everything changed. Then he left the plot line a bit empty, the jobs were complements but not the bases of the game. As now it is almost like the main one, and it is what is giving it life. "Money took a backseat" Like including pregnancy and things like that, which in the long run may give you some play! But it's not giving you anything. In the long term.
I think that no matter how many jobs and things they put in, they lost their way a bit. Because the vision they were going for can't be developed directly because Patreon cuts that off! And it's very blunt in that rule.
I had a lot of faith in the game, I've tried to make sense of it lately but there's no reason to work other than to buy clothes or pay your parents. And at one point with the bar job it's already more than meaningless.
The story line has to be completely reformed, and that takes time. Like changing lines of endless code that you may have already had in the future. He's putting in things, only he knows where the story line is going, because prostitution and other things with the Patreon rules limit you a lot. Coercion also limits you (that's why the lines of the class bully, as well as your roommate's boyfriend, are stopped)

1. Wandering Hands: Scenes involving being groped or exposed without forewarning.
When does the “groped” part ever happen? If the MC has a rival or a bully, they can suddenly pull down her skirt, but there's a blatant warning with a physical stat check, so how is that exactly without any forewarning?
I've played the game for a while, and I'm still yet to see the MC being groped without any consent or warnings. There are no random wandering hands, not even in the classrooms.
2. Bad Situations: Situations alluding to physical force or coercion that you may find it difficult or impossible to escape from.
This is the biggest joke of all time, because this literally NEVER occurs.
You may think suddenly something bad may happen to the MC, but nothing ever happens. All the encounters are consensual; they are almost always initiated by the MC. During sex, they will always listen to MC's requests; even when the game says you might not be in control, the NPCs will give up after picking resist a few times. The only thing they won't listen to is your requests, but you can keep resisting infinitely.
There is no physical force or coercion; every encounter can be ended and escaped. There are no bad guys on the streets to watch out for... even while running naked at night, nothing ever happens even after getting caught. Passing out after being intoxicated? Nothing. Pathetic.

One of the first instances I noticed in regards to this when playing is that doing laundry affects absolutely nothing unless you have bodily fluids on them. I thought at some point wearing the same clothes over and over would more harshly affect your hygiene stat over time, and/or ruin your chances of getting with someone because they'd notice your clothes that haven't been washed in weeks, but nope. Never becomes a factor at all. Heck, you could actively be covered in fluids while going around and nobody really cares.

I could be wrong but I think if clothes are stained you get a hygiene penalty and people who would normally like the style of the stained clothes won't.
Not to harp on the issue but on the subject of non-con there are still a few events where the player character can be some sort of "victim." On the other hand there are zero events that I can recall where you have the chance to be the perpetrator. For example you can get groped on the bus, but you can't do any groping yourself.

Talking to people gives that option. Left side panel "people" "Talk to him / her" and "offer gift". Might turn out not the most amazing feature ever, though.

Yeah I found. Turns out you can only gift certain items like books. Not clothes or sex toys... Kinda disappointing but here's hoping that'll be expanded on.

At the risk of sounding like a child going "why" ad nauseam, but does that do anything? The only thing of note I've seen about clothes is characters will very unnaturally and robotically say "I love your X TRAIT." I guess maybe their bars go up faster? But I feel like we're getting in an ouroboros of "to what end?"

I don't think that Submissive/Dominant need to be treated as a kind of an official romantic relationship. It would probably make more sense to be considered a separate thing like how Friend is with the Friendship stat since it operates off a different attitude stat than Romance.
The reason why I bring this up is because I think it'd be cool to be able to have Dom/Sub relationships that aren't a romantic relationship thing. There could even be some interplay between existing Dom/Sub statuses and official relationships later down the line.

I think the sentiment has merit, especially with the two being complementary meaning you could have a dominant or submissive, who also happens to say, be your soulmate, rather than having the two statuses be mutually exclusive.
I can imagine the argument against doing this would be that either the two's terms and event pools get awkwardly mixed, or they need to come up with things to account for both things being true at the same time, which is already added complexity, but the more kinds of potential combinations of relationship type you consider, could very quickly spiral out of control.

I definitely see what you're saying here. The whole reason why this even came up is because I thought it would be awkward to enter a Dom/Sub arrangement with a character only for the game to treat it like an official relationship. I know that for certain Special characters like the Classroom Harasser this is avoided thanks to the built in storylines but for other characters I can see this potentially causing a disjointed narrative.

Yeah I think style also affects if someone likes you or not. An example is that some people don't like when you dress greeky or slutty and that affects your relationship with them.
Nah that's all BS excuses. Patreon is not like Big Brother that's always watching and prowling on their creators and looking for excuses to kick them away. There are a million of creators on Patreon, and there's are many NSFW games on F95 that are doing just fine despite having rape tags and non-con content.
It is simply the developer of this game who is too much of a pussy, and probably doesn't even like non-con anyway. There's literally no way a text-based game that has zero correlations to real life or places would get kicked just because the FMC gets groped on a bus without consent... that's just pure fucking lies.

The issue is the credit card companies / payment services keystone. Pretty much any platform they would move to suffers or will suffer the same issues with busybodies pressuring credit card company to pressure the platform.
