I think you'll be happy to hear that the mod will eventually be split into two versions: Regular and a Non-Con version that has the post-GB fetish / degredation scene!

Really this is an issue with most lifesim games with female protagonists like X-Change Life, Newlife, and Girl Life.
There's this inescapable problem where if the developer allows players to have their female characters take part in as much debauchery as possible, it lowers the roleplay and narrative impact of such actions. This often leads to a constant escalation in the depravity of the fetish content in these games, but that only further cheapens all the other sexual content that came before. If the game's world and characters end up not really caring about the player's debauchry, the player won't feel like it matters as much either.
I find much of the stat juggling in CoT to not be immersive at all. And the "hardcore roleplaying" elements don't really feel like they matter when the sexual content feels like they're minigames that don't really affect the story. DietrichGRU is absolutely right here that there are many other games that offer similar sexual content without the grind.
Basically what I'm trying to say is the sexual content has to mean something in game, either through having a bigger impact on player-NPC relationships or maybe through affecting player reputations that affect relationships will all NPCs. This applies to most games in the female lifesim genre. There's too much h-content that quickly becomes meaningless in the overall context of the lifesim aspect of these games.
I'm not sure there's much that could be done, it's just that the dynamic sex system in games like these is naturally repetitive mostly. Personally the #1 best way to improve that, and therefore these games, would be increasing the number of random lines and flavor text that can generate, but I digress.
I did find I had trouble making NPCs change positions or do anything but the same few acts, typically vaginal + handjob IIRC although it's been a little while. But that is an issue I've had with the base game too so I don't particularly think it's the mod that's the issue. Besides that it also just occurred way too often and was kinda annoying to keep rejecting when I had other stuff I wanted to get done. I don't remember if you could tweak the rate of occurrence in the mod.

Totally agree with you, games like these are predisposed to repetitiveness. I tried to give the mod as much randomized dialgoue as I could to make each event a bit different.
The newer version of the mod has a 1-day cooldown between event triggers so that should resolve the reoccurance issue!
I've added the gangbang event as a hook trigger to several other events in the game like the watching porn in the lounge event, the hypnosis story line, and the hatefuck story line to keep things fresh in the new version I'm working on.
Actual narrative arc, 100%. I only want sex via a narrative. The sandbox stuff to me is boring and pointless. I know I'm extreme and not the majority. /shrug

Then CoT is obviously not the game for you. It IS and always will be a sandbox. That is what it's supposed to be. If you want a narrative driven game, there are are other games for that.
The question was rather if in addition to the sandbox elements there should be more stringent and linear quests. It's not about doing away with the sandbox entirely, that wouldn't make much sense.

My 2 cents. My Addie loves spending all day Sunday at the glory hole on her knees just for the fun of it. She also sometimes starts as early as possible on a Saturday trying to best her personal record of how many different dudes she can ride...good times. That's not a grind it's a choice. I love this game and the next update is going to be fire!

I agree with this 100%. Stakes makes the sex hotter. The best scenes for me so far are when my female character was seducing her best friend, because there is a narrative arc and escalation. I'm kinda hoping for more consequential choices, especially if the protagonist goes for a monogamous route with her.
I'm also hoping one of these updates brings on the sophomore year. I stopped playing at term's end because it breaks immersion for the protagonist to get a 4.0 and then the next year is still a freshman.

It doesnt have to be one or the other. It could be both and depending on your stats or options different outcomes are picked. For example, if you have high submission, a post GB submission scenes is shown. Or you have several options to pick and one of them gives the 3 partners the urge to degrade or reward you.
In a perfect world there would be both per each kink (consensual and degrading). For example, if you have the watersport trait a consensual pee scene is shown where everybody including the MC has fun. Same with the footlicking scene and a corresponding feat where you WANT to lick their feet. Maybe with an option to suggest or asking for it. In addition to a pee or foot kink there could be a vanilla cuddling scene, where all just bask in the afterglow and express that they had fun, like you get with casual hookups. Or a new scene where you receive a Bukkake / get squirted on afterwards.
On the other side, if you have high submission, the scenes are shown as they are right now, with the degrading tone.
It doesnt feel right that my open relationship girlfriend also takes part in the scene, but wants to degrade me for some reason. (Well unless I'd be into it, I guess).
Ona more technical level, it happens fairly often that two or more people want to change into different position at the same time. There should be only one person trying to change position with some sort of Cooldown for at least 2 turns. Like you switch from standing to cowgirl. Some internal cooldown triggered that no other NPC can attempt to change the position for 2 turns. Otherwise its "Turn1 Person1 switches to cowgirl>Turn2 Person2 switches into doggy> Turn3 Person3 switches to whatever. Instead it should be Switch> x > x > switch> x > x >switch.
I dont know it it already exists but there should be a "Sandwich" position, where one partner (male or female with strapon, Transgirl with Dick) lays below the MC attemting to fuck the ass, one is above you missionary style going for the genitals and maybe the third one is fingered or uses the mouth.
I also receive a bug fairly often depending on choices I take:
At the start if I chose the most vanilla option, and the GB starts with everyone standing, there is a chance the bug doesnt happen. However if I take the more lewd options it always leeds to this bug. Usually I save at the very start of the GB, so if I get this bug I can reload and decline the GB.
Another bug I receive after installing this mod is whenever I have sex and at the end it states if she liked it and what she liked, there is always another character displayed. something like:
Person you actually had sex with: She had fun, she orgasmed, she liked 69 the best.
Random Person not at all involed: She kinda hd fun, she didnt orgasm,

So, I'm thinking that in order to accommodate them, and those asking for a less Non-Con/Dub-Con version of the mod, I can split off the fetish scene function into a Non-Con / Hardcore version of the mod.
- However, I do like your suggestion about having a skillcheck for the PC to volunteer for the fetish acts!
I think I'd like to restructure the fetish scene to first have the NPC's inform the PC which act(s) they want the PC to perform for them, and then, the PC can have a chance to either resist (and likely be coerced into doing them) OR volunteer enthusiastically with corresponding PC dialogue stating as much.
- I actually hadn't given much thought to an aftercare scene since I'll be using the new mid-encounter feature to make the GB event quite a bit longer than it currently is (spectators/random NPC's & the original NPC's can go for a second round with the PC).
I'm currently preferring to not include an aftercare scene, since the event is already quite long and will get longer with the next update I push.
Would like to know what the community thinks about this choice, though!

- The position switching frustration you noted is unfortunately baked into the vanilla game's encounter logic to my knowledge. I may be able to do a deep dive into that code and add a cooldown mechanic, but for now, I've simply setup custom GB start functions (depending on the PC's disinhib stat)
Most of those custom start options "lock" the NPC's into a certain position to avoid this problem + give a slutty PC some agency.
- As for "sandwiches", give the "Make me airtight" - Disinhib 5 PC custom start option a try, I think it might scratch that itch for you!
- I'm currently investigating the two bugs you cited. They're quite difficult to resolve unfortunately, I'll need some time to noodle on a fix for them.
So the next update will be relatively small despite huge wall of text describing it. Finally you can swim topless in the campus pool albeit it will be a scripted event. I hope that will be the last minor update before the huge Greek House one, which may be released in mid to late May of this year.

Make me airtight only works for female MCs, doesn't it? Also like I said, my game crashes If I don't use the most vanilla option where everyone starts clothed and standing. Let me know if you want more information here. At this point I can replicate the crash more or less reliably

Gotta agree with you here. The plethora of options during sex scenes are fine but they ultimately don't mean anything cause it's largely isolated from the roleplay elements of the game. Being able to influence the narrative through sex scenes (and vice versa) would help a lot with replayability. If your opinion here isn't the majority I think it's because people haven't seen too many sandbox games where the sex and narratives deeply influence each other.
You can be having a wholesome relationship with a character who's a virgin, and during your first sex scene you can choose to surprise fuck that character's ass while choking them and not have serious story consequences for it. All the discussion about whether or not this game should have non-con elements makes 0 sense to me when you can just decide to randomly choke, spank, sodomize, and even pee on another character without warning, all of which are things that should be narrative altering events. Only cumming inside someone has any narrative consequence and even then I think it's taken too lightly.
Not a coder, but the game comes with content options for a reason. Can't you just have one version, but instead it flags non-con/dub-con content as "Bad Situations" content, and proceeds to follow the settings chosen by the user? or are people with Bad Situations enabled not wanting non-con/dub-con content?

I could certainly add logical checks for the Bad Situations content filter to turn off pieces of the mod instead of creating a whole separate version.
In fact, I'm actually doing exactly that currently with the Post-GB fetish acts; disabling certain acts based on the player's content filter choices.
It would save me a ton of effort if I didn't have to support 2 versions of the mod!
I would just need to add some logical checks to enable/disable certain dialogue + options offered to the PC based on if the Bad Situations filter was chosen or not.
Let me run this by the discord users and see if this would be acceptable for them.
