The NPC attributes are messed up which causes the NPCs to have different traits and descriptions accross 2 different game versions but with the same save. How do I fix this inconsistency?
I have no idea why that would happen. The only thing I could think of is the update involving the worldgen sliders changed how seeds are interpreted. Maybe if you upload a save file, people more qualified than me could have a look? And if that doesn't work, as long as you didn't use mods you can ask on the official discord (linked in the first post).

v0.6.4e is from four months ago, so a lot might have changed in the game since then.
if you want to go back to the past, maybe try customizing your npc so it stays somewhat the same as before? including change npc inclination, clothing style etc?

Yeah I also assumed something related to the seeding changed . I guess ill just have to restart.

honestly it would be better to just restart rather than doing that

I am doing Esport team on my 2nd round, so I pick a streamer job on niche tv to stream gaming and found out my gaming skill doesnt seem to affect my tips...

Below is my experience:
If you wear a mask or use the $200 Vtube software, you get less tips?
I upgrade my pc to the best gaming pc (just the pc for now), $2400, but did not see a significant increase in tips.

What you stream doesnt seem to matter at all, lv10 gaming skill or lv2 dancing gives me same amount of tips, i think?
This streamer job doesnt pay a lot, at 50% popularity I get around $9~$11 per hour, if i do reroll for tips... this is close to River Rat job which is the only other job i have played, but River Rat has tips beside the pay.
River Rat bar job allows me to work till 2am, but streaming at dorm, i have to stop after 10pm on weekdays and Sundays.
The streamer job however offer something else - you can moon chat for $50~$150 as requested by viewers randomly. Doing this could get you ban temporary after 3 strikes. (There is a mod to handle that), River Rat also has a similar collect debt event that adds $100~??
Hot tube streaming doesnt improve my tips...

This is my question:
I get an email invitation to do college cam after awhile and E-girl storyline says I have to get another account to make progress... so moving onto college cam is the next step?

If this game had visuals, it would be perfect. I use an AI image generator to try to create the characters' appearance, but it's quite bland

You can change the default orientation probabilities by opening the game with a text editor and searching for "#region Species" and changing the numbers where it says "attraction." So for example if you wanted all male characters to be homos you could change "gay" to 100 and the others to 0, or if you wanted to make straight men not interested in transexuals you could remove "transgender female" from the list. These are the default values before any slider modifications so if you change things here leave the sliders at default. Also be aware that if the game is trying to find a character with specific properties but one doesn't exist because you prevented it from generating one it will error out.
Thanks for sharing, I'm quite having fun changing many things inside the file now, especially the setup.people where the niches are defined and what range of variables they can have. Let's see how far can I go before I explode my PC :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I personally wish there was some kinda of river city ransom mode where you could fight classmates, take their lunch money, and play with them afterwards.

Older adults would be off limits, and food would provide stat buffs.

For those code enthusiasts on here, has anyone managed to edit the game to add new genders yet (I don't mean just changing the parts of current genders), and if so, how do I actually do it? As a test, I've tried defining a new intersex gender in the setup.species.human.genders section where the other genders are listed, but it doesn't seem to do anything and there's no new sliders or options when starting a new game, so I guess there's more things I need to change to make the game consider it as part of the world generation?

on the modding discord, we have a couple of mods that add new genders to the game, but i think they're for the pc character only. since i haven't tested them, i don't know if they work as intended

if you're in the modding discord, try searching for mods made by mesrune or by vellichor in the kittypatcher-mods thread

it might not be exactly what you're looking for, but it should help instead of going in blind

It this mod good? If so could anyone write how to install it? The instructions given by the poster is unclear
It shows the player appearence like that : 1753178206196.png
(Variant version can change the design, or you can create your own... If you have the courage to design X number of clothes )

For the installation, I would advise looking at the modding :
- Download a version of the game modified with ModLoader (first link in modloader-updates) and extract
- Download the mod (modloader-mods > PaperDollFramework [1.7.0] > PaperdollFramework-1.7.0.mod.zip), DON'T exctract
- Copy the res folder (game's images) of the official version into your modloader's one, if it's not already present
- Run the Modloader's.html
- In the main menu, click on ModLoaderManager (bottom left corner), at SelectModZipFile load the .zip file and click Add mod
- Reload the page and play

hello! can someone share the dev diary #87 please? thank you (y)
Here you go:
Hello friends! Join me... here in the midst of Greek house update crunch... for another Friday dev diary!

So, I had done a lot of work on pledge tasks, parties, party activities, and the houses themselves, but there was still a lot to do to connect these systems! The houses have to be introduced, the player has to be granted the opportunity to pledge, the game has to detect and fire off another event when the pledge tasks are complete, and finally the player can join their chosen house.

One thing this implies but that I hadn't given any specific thought to is... the initiation ceremony! These are super important to Greek houses, but even today, the exact details are often shrouded in secrecy. But in any case, I want to avoid evoking any particular actual house and it's a game anyway, so we can have a little fun with it.
1753179692188.png
I did a fair amount of writing here, coming up with two different ceremonies (one for the more traditional houses, one for the less traditional), each with two ways they can go depending on content settings. As with everything else, this is something I still want to come back to and iterate on later — ideally each house should get a very individualized ceremony.

I also wasn't quite sure how specifically detailed to get. In real life, these ceremonies can involve specific acts, oaths, passwords, and so on, but for obvious reasons, these are the most difficult aspects to find details about. For now, I'm leaving these bits fairly abstracted. At some point, I'll come back around and invent some more lore for each house. I think that would be fun to write, and more importantly, fun to experience.

The important thing for now is that the work of stitching all this stuff together into a complete system is done. You can learn about the houses, pledge, complete your tasks, and be initiated as a full member. That just leaves further iteration — as discussed last week, I want to work on the pledge tasks more, then go back to party activities and add to those, and, sooner or later, expand on these initiations as well. The upshot is, while I want to keep building onto this update as much as I can, we're still very much on track to get this into early access this month.

On another subject, the game has recently (as in, within the last couple of days) gained a new volunteer contributor, HeartsDmise, whose focus is graphic design! Most of the game's current graphic assets are stock art I've bought and kludged together or stuff created via app, which is about the limit of my own graphic design abilities (though I also can't forget to call out Penny's sports team logos or Rotem, who designed the splash screen and the original Addie).

We're still working out exactly what to prioritize, but this should be a big help in improving the game's presentation. Already she's produced a range of new time and weather assets.
1753179718812.png
These are reminiscent of the current art but they build in a lot more information — season, time of day, and current weather, and we'll also integrate the temperature display. This will consolidate the recently added weather/temperature assets and allow us to regain that space on the sidebar, and it'll look a lot better besides!

Okay, that's where I'll leave it for now, as there's still a lot I want to get done! I'll be back next week with another progress report. Very close now! And, as always, I want to thank you for your generous support, I really couldn't do it without you!

August, I think.
Yes, according to the dev diary #86, "The plan is underway and I'm on track to get this update into your hands this month", meaning it should be Early access next week and Public release first week of August.

Here you go:
thank you for this!

now the game has a graphic designer as a contributor! can't wait to see what HeartsDmise brings to the game

if i understood correctly, she's the ui/ux designer, so hopefully the game's interface will improve a lot compared to the default twine/sugarcube setup
