I found the swimsuit and topless petition idea events in the code, but it doesn't look like there's any following code to actually do anything with them. I'm not at all adept with SugarCube, but it doesn't look like those events are ever actually called from anywhere, either. They exist in the code, but nothing will ever trigger them. Am I missing something obvious? Has anyone actually had these events trigger in-game?

I have gotten the Unisex locker room and swimsuit ones to activate. Just got home and have taken another look....aaaand just confirmed my thoughts on the topless one:

The mods seem to be broken, plenty of errors after using kittypatcher, makes the game unplayable. Base game works fine though.
Does anyone know how to have more than one love interest? Istg, my character only have one lover and I already used cheats

The mods might not be updated to work with the new release yet.
Easiest way is to choose the Polyamorous inclination at character creation, where it asks you what your sexual/romantic experience is.

The swimwear one is bugged as heck. Sometimes I can go to class in it no problems other times I get the "you can't go to class without being fully dressed!" Thing. I'm not familiar with how SugarCube works, I do know that most of the fun stuff (forcheatinganti-grind purposes) is under SugarCube.State.variables.[whatever] and that if you're having trouble figuring out the variable,grep -C 10will probably point you in the right direction.
And the coed locker room so far is completely useless, nothing has changed. Not that much ever happened in there to start with anyway.
Sadly the frequency of the updates gurantees that Mods won't be viable until the game is completed.

Is enough common that Early Release will have issues, in a week there will be a public version..
Those are actually two completely different statements, "nothing has changed" sure, but that doesn't mean it's useless, it's introducing the petition system and will allow the more useful ones to not come out of nowhere...if of course the dev finally stops building a bunch of shallow systems and actually starts fleshing them out
It unlocks a door for you to change the campus mood according to your wish and taste, just like what you can do with River Rat... provided that more "interesting" petitions are released in the future.
As too how interesting it can become, it depends on the developer... and modders.
