javascript is not multi-threaded
Ok, and? The point being made was that the code path can diverge and unexpectedly end earlier than expected. Whether that's caused by the code being run literally at the same time or virtually at the same time doesn't matter. Point is, something isn't running in the expected order.

I accedently deleted the save files. Is it possible to add a couple of save files to the thread? To avoid having to start from scratch...

Thanks for responding! Very promising game. It's generous of you to provide a free version and I'm genuinely happy to see that shared here and not your paid versions!

I realize it's more work to create an official "demo" version but if the purpose of the free version is to attract buyers I'd humbly suggest maybe backporting some fixes to create a better experience. My main frustration playing was that the game will crash if you try to manipulate some of the NPCs, for example, the guard that walks around, the lady merchant in the middle of the village, and the goblin shaman will all cause the game to crash.

Gameplay wise, this might be addressed in future patches, but I wasn't sure if there was a time limit or some other constraining factor going on? With infinite time and no real adversary the job of corrupting everyone can feel a bit like a grind to get through and less like conquering something.

There's a game called NewsDesk, very different gameplay but I think a similar corruption power fantasy. That game is a deckbuilder, but there you are constantly battling the target of your corruption, and as you progress she fights back and the game gets harder in a way. That struggle makes the corruption feel more satisfying.

In this game, having an adversary that's working against you, someone that's initially stronger but through your cunning you undermine and eventually overpower, I think is a key part of the fantasy? Given the intro and plot through the demo, I thought the Queen or perhaps the Queen's mage would be that character. Perhaps the mage is? As for the Queen, very quickly you can blackmail her and start spanking her and it's kind of over before it begins.

Anyway, that's just two cents from a random internet person. Really love that you're using custom art and not AI stuff. You've also really added a lot onto rpgm that makes the game feel unique. Looking forward to future releases!

Yes, these quests are a little buggy in this older version. I think the whats her deal can still be completed even if the journal does not check the box.
Lady is a centerfold not completable this version, but is completable in thepremium versions.

This has all been updated in the new ones on itch and patreon/substar plus the new content.

Appreciate the thoughtful response!

I agree on the progression with the Baroness, she is indeed meant to be the main antagonist. In subsequent versions, it is a bit harder to get the spanking permission. However, I think I will make it more difficult, to draw out her corruption. Maybe I will move the spanking to the dream sequence, so the player can get a little taste of what is to come.

The sorceress will also be a main antagonist with her own corruption path. I will try to clean up the demo version, either by fixing the bugs in the current free version, or updating this thread once I release my next patreon version.

NewsDesk is a great game in plot and art and the whole corruption concept. It was one of many inspirations for this game (although the Newsdesk gameplay itself was a bit too difficult and grindy, even with cheats).

As for the current demo, unfortunately, my version control was not the greatest (its been improved now) so its not super easy to go back and fix bugs, but will try.

Feel free to jump on our discord if u want to add suggestions or report bugs. But will also come back here to check out comments as well. Thanks for playing!

Happened to me too. Funnily enough, that's the blond baronessa's room door! It disappears from her room making it impossible to access her and shows up in the hallway.

I'm playing version 13.7 and although the door disappears, I can still access the bedroom by clicking where it was - and can also exit the room by clicking where the door used to show.
