That's very strange. I tested this minigame several times and the sounds that give feedback when you click always play. But if you're having trouble, this is the right order: 11 times left, 8 times down, 6 times right, and 10 times up.
The fifth scene with Violet happens if you fail the dance minigame. As for AJ's hidden scene, you need $40 and to be in your room on Saturday night.

I just gave up on this game afyer trying that mini-game a few times. And I don't mind mini-games, as long as they are doable, for me this one wasn't.
I'll not be continuing with this game as I don't like mini-games (I play to enjoy the story not to compete with it).
Note you might want to fix the music button - when you tell it to turn off music it does for about 3 seconds than it starts right back up.
