Gamcore does not offer officially approved versions of game.
It’s a nice way to test out a new game without downloading it, just to see if you might like it, but the only way to play the game as the developer intended is to download it

When i download it, it gives an error message after dressing in the first morning. It could be interesting but now it's a waste of time.

Hasn't this game been over for months? Am I missing something, or is my mind playing tricks on me?
The "main" story line has been over for a long time: you can play the game until the end fighting vampires.
The "alternate" route where the MC becomes a vampire is not finished yet (I dunno how far it is rn)

Judging by the error message you probably put the game in a read-only location, so it can't save there. Try moving it to a location where it has writing permissions.
Also, the error message seems to be about the Mac version, so you should ask people who also play on Mac.
Are you playing in a browser?
That error pops up with permissions issues on macos or when playing in a browser.
Like written before: on gamcore (firefox or chrome) no save possible. With a download there is no browser used and the permisson is "read and write".
even if you aren't saving, Firefox has the habit of choking like this on RPG Maker games.
For the download, if permissions are incorrect, you have to set permissions for all files in the app bundle, and not just the game.app
chmod -R ### game.app/ IIRC
Edit: ### = permission you need to set it to. I think 755 but that's off the top of my head i could be wrong.

The next update cycle for Crimson Veil has begun and for this update I will be holding another contract contest!
However, this one is special, because it will revolve around adding the final new Pet to the vampire route! This will be the last opportunity to add a party member to the game created by YOU! Be sure to read the rules below!
In addition to this quest, the next update will also include a second contract written by me. This contract will focus on Eve and give a bit of backstory on her.
The quest will also have players returning to an older location from the hunter route! I’ll be sharing some images with you next week of the sort of story this will be.
This last bit is for Patreon supporters. As I mentioned a few months ago, the billing structure has now changed to comply with Apple’s imposed policies. What new and returning patrons need to know is that they SHOULD NOT subscribe to me through the iOS app, as Apple will take a percentage of what you pledge to me if you do so. I understand that this is inconvenient, but there is not much that can be done about this on my end. My hope is that somehow Patreon will push back on these predatory practices from Apple, but until then, it is what it is. Regardless, thank you always for your continued support.
