I do plan on having more threesome scenes yes, they're just very low priority since they aren't really *required* for anything, development-wise, and we're severely backed up on necessary animations. Not every enemy will get them, but hopefully we can start adding some more once we catch up on our animation backlog

I fully get the development priorities, but this gave me a huge smile! Thanks for letting us know!

Honestly, this is by far the best h game on Patreon at the moment. Even better than Price for Freedom: Avarice, which used to be my favorite. Both games are great, but this one delivers the best balance between the porn stuff and gameplay stuff.
If it wasn't for the porn, this could probably be a big highlight on Steam Early Access.

In a just world, it would be.

Hello o/
--
I realize this is probably the last place you'd look for feedback in, but here goes:
First of all, I really enjoyed what the game has to offer. Most games settle for barely any voice acting and it would be limited to the grabs.
So kudos on that part.

Secondly, the enemy variety and switches between normal grabs and engorged ones are great. I assume you also plan on making the allurane double tag you and all that? (I won't mention all the monsters, but seeing as how most of them have the normal vs engorged grabs I think that's in the plan?) let me know :D

Here's where I'd offer my humble suggestions / nitpick a little. Almost all animations have the main character in a reasonable size, but then the tentacles shrink her down significantly. It just looks weird to me, that's all.
Another thing, (this one is more off a suggestion/hoping) that most humanoid enemies can double team you i.e the allurane, the poison allurane, the males in the catacombs (forgot their tribe name), the scientists etc.
:D

Lastly, while I can't support you on Patreon, I can safely say this is an easy 100% buy for me. (Assuming you'll put the finished product on Steam, that is :D)

Best of luck to you & your team on this awesome game!

Thank you for the kind words and the well wishes! I'm flattered you enjoy the game so much! To go over your feedback in roughly the same order it was given:
-I can't confirm for sure which enemies will get duo scenes and which ones won't, but I do plan on adding more duo scenes eventually. Not all enemies will get them though, it mostly depends on if you frequently run into those enemies in groups or not
-I'll take a look at the tentacle animation to see if it needs some editing! It's one of the older scenes, so it wouldn't surprise me if the anatomy is off; a lot of the older stuff isn't nearly as good as our animations are now.
-Steam release is definitely something we plan on doing, once the game is complete!

(The rest of this post is a copy-paste from our ; sorry this post is late, and that there haven't been development update posts recently! We're in the middle of an extremely large move, from the southeast coast of the USA all the way to Alaska, so we've had barely any time to work on CPE for some time as our daily lives are too busy with the move. Things should be back to normal at some point early August.)

Hey everybody! This is gonna be another "updateless update"; we're deep into the move to Alaska now, and our computer setups have all been dismantled, so nobody on the core team has a way to work on CPE right now. Since there's nothing to share in regards to game development, I'd like to share a quick update on the move itself, along with a lengthy writeup about the Flare Shot's original incarnation, what my intentions for it were, where I believe I went wrong, and how I intend to improve it (and the game's combat as a whole) going forward.

So first up, the move. I won't get into anything too specific, but it's going smoothly; we've shipped something like half our stuff, and all our big furniture is already gone, so we're just sleeping on air mattresses for the rest of our time here. All that's really left is to ship out the rest of what we're keeping, donate the rest, and do some deep cleaning before we leave. It's been an extremely busy move and I'm so ready to be done with it. Our flight is scheduled for the 27th, and I'm extremely anxious to get back to working on CPE, so expect streams to start up again very early August; as soon as my computer arrives and I have everything set up again I'll be doing those regularly again.

Now, the Flare Shot. As our patrons know by now, from the recent polls, the Flare Shot is getting a rework. I decided to take another look at it while reworking the Wire Shot, and decided that, while the Flare Shot isn't nearly as underwhelming as the Wire Shot was, it's also not very interesting or useful outside of a few niche cases, mostly involving the Orbital Flare skill you can purchase. I want to examine why I think it turned out that way, from my perspective as the game's designer.

The starting point to this is actually not related to the Flare Shot, at least not directly; the thing that got me thinking about this was some comments I received recently on a forum. Essentially, the comments boiled down to criticism about the game's enemies being too tanky, and taking too many shots to die, which made playing the game cumbersome; my initial reaction was that I didn't really agree, but rather than brushing it aside, I wanted to think about it more thoroughly, and I think I've discovered a few key reasons why I believe some players feel this way, as well as how I plan to resolve it.

Wew.. that was a long one, but I hope you enjoyed reading it! The planned changes are mostly simple/numerical things, so I don't expect it to take long to implement, but there will naturally be a lot of tweaking to get things feeling just right. In a future post I'll detail my exact plans for the Flare Shot + Melee integration, but in the meantime, feel free to leave any ideas if you have them. Feedback is king in game development, and I want to make sure these changes are done right. Thank you all so much for taking the time to read, and thank you so much to our patrons for being so patient with the lack of development work - this move is taking a lot out of me, but I'm excited to get back to work on CPE as soon as I possibly can!

It will be, actually! All of the subweapons are getting their own button, and the Flare Shot in specific is also being changed completely, and integrated as an upgrade to melee instead of being its own function. Sorry, that change announcement must've not been posted here, since a few of my recent updates have been patron-only polls.

I'm really glad with this update. I see my feedback giant feedback was useful, and this makes me feel great. I'm anxious to see how this "combat update" will be, and I have good hopes.
I, personally, admit that I never use the melee weapon. The flare shot, however, I used a lot, thanks to the "Orbital Flare" upgrade. That fireball used to cause a lot of damage, and gives me option to keep dodging and avoiding damage. I hope that this upgrade is incorporated to the update. Anyway, I trust in your work.

Availing this comment, I will give you some more feedback. I played the game with the sexual content desabled, and it's make looks like other game. The Deep Soil gets so easier, that's makes me wonder a little about what I can win playing with the sexual content enable. Make sex with enemys give me some heal; a little amount, but I think it's ballanced, since some people may want to play the game without use this resource anyway. But only gives the heal; it don't do any damage to enemys, or give any stun; nothing besides the heal. In fact, you come back to combat so fast that, sometimes, you lose the HP that you just healed, because the going back is just to fast. In some games, fuck your enemys is a way to "kill" then (what Rodriguez makes looks like it's the CPE case when he say "this planet just wanna sex, sometimes is easer to give it what it want), but I don't know if this is a good mechanic. I think in give to enemys a little stun, just long enough to you run away (or to give you some advantage in combat) would be a nice reward. Or some other debuff. I think that a really shot debuff (like 0.5 seconds) is essencial to just makes the come back to battle fairer, but a longer (like a 1.5 seconds maybe) would give a nice alternative to combat. I though too about a skill-tree to sex interations, to raise the heal, the stun, and maybe even give some damage... just to give another way to play the game, either killing everything in your way or fucking everything in your way. If you don't think that sex should be a combat mechanic, just the 0.5 seconds stun would be great, but keeps in mind that the game is easier without the sexual content because of BE mechanic. I think that would just be a fair exchange.
Now, some problems with playing the game with sexual content desable. Some situations that the sexual content isn't really desable:
-The Torguis Female is naked even with sexual content desable (a contrast with the Warped Sentries and even the Allurane)
-Give the Starlets disk to Rodriguez imediatly starts the CG even when sexual content is desable; a new player who do not want to see this type of content would be caught off guard.
-The new scene with Lucas and the Doctor also plays normally even with the sexual content desable, which is worse since it's a mandatory scene.
-Die to the glue projectile of scientist when the sexual content is desable makes Alicia invisible (the glue sprite is still visible)
-Talking to Birch to see CG scenes do not generate a warning about sexual content. It is not obvious for the menu, and if you skiped the dialogues, you can just be cough off guard. I can maybe been too picky, but I think a warning for Sexual Content (just when the Sexual Content is desable in menu, of course) would be nice when talking to Birch, when entering in Sprite Gallery, and in any other moment that a sexual content appears.

And two little bugs I have founded:
-Destroy a destructible block when a Slime is over it makes the Slime walk normally upsides a invisible block
-Kill two enemys for the first time in the same moment (obtainable after the red door, with a Force Shot) makes the notification for scenes unlock for just one of then.

Lastly, a question: do you plannet to release translations to CPE? If yes, I would love to help with the Brazillian Portuguese translation.

August 1st I will donate $2.00 in Patreon. It is little and it will be just for a month, but this is what I can do now for support the game. As always, thanks for your patient and your good work. Love this game, man.

It should open after you defeat the tar. Which version of game are you playing?

0.40, but I'm loading into a save that's pretty old (0.20ish) so maybe it's something wrong with a trigger that wasn't there when I killed the tar?
I recommend restarting, its not uncommon for any game in development's older saves to cause bugs plus there's always the chance of missing added content from before where you reached in the last version.

Yeah, started new and it all worked well, so I guess it was just an issue with the save having been started a ways back :p

You can explore a good chunk of the Deep Forest before entering the Catacombs, but to progress you have to go to the Catacombs, get the flamethrower, then go back to the Deep Forest and explore the rest, including underwater sections.
After that, you have a whole new area to explore, but that one is not complete yet.
