Ran into a bug. during the Vicky scene after the exam it says I passed, but later with Charlotte it says I failed

Thanks, the code was looking for an exam value >1 strictly, when it needed a >=1.
I've corrected it. But never mind this discussion, the exam is indeed considered passed, it's the discussion with Vicky that's right.
If you continue with the next update that comes out, it won't be a problem. It's just a different line of text with no consequences.

Not a serious error, but in Emily/Vicky sex scene the narration refers to Vicky like half the time with "his/him" pronouns instead of "her". As Vicky didn't indicate she's going to transition, it's a bit of "uhh, what" coming from left field.

Sometimes, for certain formulations that I'm not sure of in English (because it's not my mother tongue), I use a translator. And he makes everything masculine. If I forget to iron, it goes like this...

edit: one more bug, during Day 5:

The value "liam" only indicates that MC asked Liam for help, but didn't (yet) follow through with an actual study session. Once she does, the relevant variable is set to liam+. That latter variant isn't checked and the game treats it like Emily studied entirely on her own, which costs her 1 study point: she gets +2 instead of +3 to her study score.

IIRC this is with MC who avoided declaring either of them as her crush. She does tell Vicky she is into Liam, but only on the next day. And when speaking with Vicky on day 2 during the shopping trip she names Vicky as her fantasy.

I have a newbie question about the forum...
I noticed that when there was an update, the post didn't up in the Game forum.
Is this normal, do posts never up? Or is there something I need to do to make the post reappear?

I looked around a bit (and no doubt it's written somewhere and I didn't look hard enough), but I couldn't find an answer.
Sorry to bother you with this, I'm not very familiar with this forum and I don't want to break any rules

Click that, then on report reason you pick Game updates and give a link. Then you just need to wait for a mod to update your game. I think bug fixes and small updates doesn't count. It's best to use when there's a sizable update on your game.

What exactly do you mean by list? Are you talking about the Latest Updates page? If you've already done that, then you just gotta hang tight for a bit while a mod gets it updated. If it's still not showing after a couple of days, feel free to give it another report.

You also can claim ownership of this thread by contacting the mods. Then you can fully update the OP yourself. There are quite a few devs that do it this way.

Yes, there's a path for her in the game, including a sex scene you can get near the end of current version.

#Update - Back on track, and full focus on Emily’s paths

Yesterday

Hi everyone,

It’s time for a little behind-the-scenes update and I’m happy to say that I’ve finally gotten back into a solid creative rhythm after a few slower weeks due to a heavy workload.

As some of you know, I’ve had a big wave of work from my main job lately, and quite a bit of travel abroad, which made it harder to focus on Crossing the Lines for a while. Since this game is still a passion project developed in my spare time, I really want to thank you all - your support, your patience, and your enthusiasm are what keep me going.
Focus of the past weeks: Jobs and consequences

Lately, I’ve been dedicating a lot of time to expanding the different job routes available to Emily — waitress, hostess, model, Sugar babe...

But I want these jobs to be more than just isolated scenes. My goal is to make each job shape a different Emily — her personality, her values, her relationships. What she does during the day should have a real impact on who she becomes, even in scenes unrelated to work. Some paths might make her more ambitious, others more submissive, reckless, conflicted… It's still a bit rough around the edges, but that's the idea.

This means creating alternative versions of certain dialogues, and writing new outcomes depending on the paths you choose. It’s a lot of extra work, but it’s also what will make the experience richer and more immersive.
Phone system and gallery

I’ve also made good progress on the in-game phone.
The goal is to make it a real hub where you can track Emily’s progress: her relationships, her emotional state, her choices, maybe even her secrets…

Another goal I’ve started working on is the scene gallery — a place where you’ll be able to rewatch important (or steamy) moments you’ve unlocked. It’s a long and quite technical task, especially with the branching system the game uses, but I’m determined to get there!
What’s next?

If all goes according to plan, I’m aiming to release a significant new update in about two weeks. It should contain:

New job events

The next part of the main storyline (Saturday continued)

The first version of the improved phone interface

I think that list is just for new game uploads, the first time they get uploaded to this site. My game was there when it first uploaded, and I remember yours being there back then too. But it doesn't seem to be for monthly updates or anything. People usually find games by checking the 'Latest Updates' page anyway.

Hi everyone,
I’ve got some exciting news to share — I’ve made a lot of progress on the game over the past few weeks, and the next update will include several features that many of you have been asking for!

Scene Gallery – Finally here!
One of the biggest additions is the scene gallery!
It took quite some time to get it working (Python coding isn't exactly my strongest skill, I’ll admit ), but I’m happy to say it’s now fully functional!

In the next version, you’ll be able to replay any scene you’ve already unlocked directly from the main menu.
Scenes that you haven’t experienced yet will remain locked, so there’s still plenty of incentive to explore different paths and choices.

Phone Improvements – The beginning of a true hub
I’ve also made progress on the phone interface.
In the next update, you’ll find more information about the characters you’ve met, including stats and brief notes.

This version will still be relatively simple, but I plan to expand it gradually into a central hub for tracking Emily’s evolution — her relationships, her emotional state, unlocked jobs, and more. Stay tuned!

Writing Progress – Day 6 complete!
On the writing side, Day 6 is now fully written, and I’m just waiting on the final visuals before wrapping it up for release.
This chapter pushes the story further, and depending on your previous choices, opens up some very different paths...

Release plan
If all goes smoothly, I’m aiming to release the next update for Unchained Tier members in about 10 days.
Other tiers will get access as usual a little later, following the normal release rhythm.
