I think the expansion was released before the main game was updated so it might not be needed, can't confirm until I get access to a PC (maybe tomorrow), sorry I can't be of much help

If you've played one game by Chaotic, you've played them all.

That's an exaggeration, but not a big one.

Graphics have improved over the years, but the writing hasn't. The characters are one dimensional (the days when this was acceptable in "porn games" are long behind us), plots and settings very similar from game to game and the sex is very vanilla (and I'm not asking for "taboo" content, heck I don't even like stuff like that... just something a bit spicier).

Your fanbase keeps asking if you can make another game in the style that you used to, so you decide to make one more game like that for fun.

Then a ton of people are like "these games are all the same, I wish he'd do something different".

I realize that you've got old fans that want more of the same every time, but here's how you get me to pay for your games:

- Get rid of the strict 1st person POV. Especially the sex scenes could be a lot more interesting if you didn't limit yourself to FPS (first person sex).

- Forget the customizable main character. Give your character a name and at least somewhat defined personality.

- Spice up the sex.

- More focus on the plot. Less stuff we've seen too many times (photo shoots, strip clubs, streaking etc)

I can't say for sure you'd make more money this way, but I know there are plenty of people who feel like I do about your games.

I've got a lot of love for Chaotic and his games. They were my gateway into 'Adult' games. I can see what people are saying about a lot of the games being similar, and I appreciate that (if you're reading this Chaotic I think it's time to retire the 'photographer' angle, sorry, but three games + is enough).
I feel like 90% of the Renpy games people quote as being 'better' are all very similar to each other, so maybe it's just a case of different people liking different things.
Sometimes Chaotic puts out a really good game, sometimes they're less so (Lisette being my personal favourite of his), but they're released as full games and at a decent regularity which is far better than a developer spending a long time working on something that never gets finished.

Just my opinion, i'm off to give Crystal a try, hope it's one of the better games.

See, to me, what you're suggesting here is to remove everything about the games that make them unique. Though, most of my previous games have been more plot driven recently. Crystal and Phototgrapher part 3 are the only exception. I also haven't limited myself entirely to first person sex only for years.

First person sex games with customizable characters and only slightly fetishist segments are a niche, but a very popular one. vdategames makes way more money than most game makers I see on Patreon since pretty much no one else is doing them this way. It would be weird for me to make games which are more generic and will probably make me less money.

Yeah, don't worry. The photographer role is long gone.

Photographer part 3 is the only game in, like, the last four years to have any photography segments (I think).

Yes, this is a big limitation (also for dsp3000 games) in the sex scenes.
He/they can removed it at least.

I did, thank you. Looked very good, played well and was well written. I didn't notice any 'Bald Crystal' other people reported.
If I were to have one criticism, It was maybe a bit on the short/small side.
