Weekly Update #4 - The Big 2025

Happy new year, everyone! Hope you had a good time, and I wish you a great year.
I had some extra time to cook things up this week compared to the last, so let's go over that.
I'm also going to try and clean up the formatting of these posts so that hopefully they're easier to digest as well. Let me know what you think!

Lots of new things to try now, and some extra mobile compatibility to make the experience more enjoyable. Also, with the Mall being introduced I can finally work on some of the unused stats in the next update (allure being the biggest one), which means showers will finally have a purpose other than triggering events! I'm also going to introduce a hair salon and a clothing shop to add to the things you can do, as well as the ability to apply makeup.

This will be all for next Monday's update. I'm going to immediately start working on planning and developing the following batch of content, so once I have more news to share on that front I will.

As always, if you encounter any issues or would like to give any suggestions related to anything at all, please feel free to do so.

Sounds fantastic. Will there be an option to hitch a ride back to the campus some time?
Also, what are the plans for the gym? Currently it is not really worth it for one very short scene and a flashing move. Will a workout maybe add to a stat in the future?

Btw just in case the men's bathroom scene is considored non-con, adding the tag would help I think. Same with the groping tag for the bus. Unless I misunderstood those scenes of course.

I originally added the hitch ride option to the campus as there's currently no way to earn money there, to avoid any weird softlocks. But I can definitely add one to the city in the next update.

The gym scenes were fleshed out a bit this week, and there's plans for more gym-related content as well (I can say with certainty that there's not a single "finished" area in the game right now, they will all be getting more stuff as time goes on). And yeah! There's an agility stat that I'm planning to use as a tool to let players escape certain situations, it's just not being used yet.

As for the bathroom scene, that tag should probably be added yes. My goal with these events is to add a form of "penalty" scenarios for players that accumulate too much corruption, even if they're sort of optional right now as you have to go out of your way to trigger them.

There's meant to be unavoidable events (like the class stuff) because it would be boring to cruise through the whole game with absolutely zero danger (that's mostly the purpose of having the church as well, to mitigate unwanted corruption gains). But things like the bathroom and other similar future events are separate from that and meant to be a bit more of a choice to engage with.

I deployed the game on firebase for those who use mac/linux, don't like webview2 or have other issues opening it.
I'll keep it up to date along with the other versions of the game.

With that said, the first thing you should do is check if you have Webview2 runtime installed, that's the most common issue.

Also, it's not an actual contracted host so it has a hard monthly bandwidth limit. I can't afford hosting at the moment but I'll get around to it once we have more financial support. In the meantime I would suggest sticking with the downloadable version if it works for you.

You can find crash logs by using the Run (Win+R) command and typing in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\com.cwmdev.cscampus\logs". If the folder doesn't exist, it means the app itself isn't crashing, but something on your machine is preventing execution.

If you have Webview2 on the latest version, check if your Windows installation is up to date, and if your antivirus isn't blocking the executable.

Yeah, looks like the entirety of the monthly bandwidth limit was steamrolled by folks in little more than 3 days after uploading, lol.
I'll look into alternatives until I have the money to hire a proper host, but as it stands it's gonna be dead for a week or two.

Update: the game is now also playable directly on the itch.io page!

I tested the new version a bit. Every update is a bit more fun to play compared to the previous one so far, great work!

• When you are at the family house, you can eat snacks without limits unless the father event triggers. Is this a bug, or was that intentional?
• Working out should in my opinion drain some energy. Only my two cents though.
• Also what are the current ways of getting the corruption stat up? After one or two days, the agility stat is already so high that the events during PE and swimming class are always triggered as "successful". So the only real way of getting this stat is hitchhiking to the city and turning the lad down. Later this issue is pretty much non existent. As soon as one way opens up, you can get flooded with corruption.
• One question about the events that can trigger in the city, or residential zone: Do these occur randomly or do I have to perform a certain action or something like that?
• I can't seem to trigger the two scenes that only play at night while passing time in the city. What are the requirements?
• One can get stuck in the Bus scene. Tease and then leave. Everytime I click leave, the lust meter goes up, but I don't actually progress and I'm stuck on the same screen.
• You can time travel! Go after detention time to the library. It's closed for studying, but you can masturbate. After getting the 3 warnings, it goes back to 5 o clock.

- This is true and it's corrected in the next update
- I initially considered having a "fail the check anyway" button for now because stat balancing isn't quite there yet, but the next update addresses this much better with the new formulas. Though aside from that I'm going to introduce a couple other events similar to these that don't raise other stats in order to avoid getting locked out of gaining corruption in these scenarios, that includes adding more low/mid/high corruption scenarios in the classes
- The events in the city do happen randomly, yes. I have a little service I can feed multiple possible outcomes that I use to trigger events in areas where there's more than one, which speaking of...
- I seem to have set the odds incorrectly for the night events, so they don't even trigger right now, oops x2
- I really gotta get rid of the function that hard forces the clock to a certain time... that was bound to happen at some point. I'll sort it out for the next update!
- The current sidequest is triggered at the roof, though it's random and I do admit it's kind of weird as there's nothing else to do there right now. You end up having to exit and re-enter a couple times in order to get it. I'll throw in some more stuff to do up there soon, but for now I'll likely raise the odds to 100% so it's less confusing.

Also, thanks for the kind comments! And I do appreciate all the feedback and bug reports, the bigger this thing gets the harder it becomes for me to test everything myself.

Definitely have some stuff planned, right now I need to get some of the more sandbox oriented "slice of life" content to counterbalance all of the lewd stuff, but I've already been DMd a lot asking about scenarios like kidnapping, coercion, blackmail and such, which I'm definitely going to start working on for 0.5.0 onwards.
There's other things aside from that but I don't wanna get too ahead of myself.

Around 6 o clock in the evening, try spaming going into the kitchen. You will get asked at some point to help set up the table for dinner. Do that a couple of times, and the rank increases.

Adding to that, encountering him in the living room also increases rank! As long as the event triggers your rank will increase at least a bit, even if you can't progress it yet. Same goes for all the other events there.

Next update will have more rank 1 and 2 events so that there's a solid foundation to slowly flesh out the later ranks.

so is increasing the dad to rank 2 possible at this point ? i got the brother there though events in the living room with the brother the brother are just text you can blow him while sunbathing or blow him playing games

Yeah, currently you have the kitchen, living room and bedroom events for him which all raise rank progress by about 20/30% just by triggering them, and then a bit more if you have the rank to go further in the ones that have an extra step.

Once I'm done adding more ways to raise rank I'll adjust the numbers, the way the scenes progress, and the amount of scenes but right now you can go all the way to rank 5 with no issues (though IIRC I've yet to implement things for the last two ranks)
