I can't get used to the word murim, I always call it Wuxia, after all, it stemmed from China. And yeah, Wuxia and Xianxia are literally the perfect enviroment for AVNs, harem, check, corruption, check (the confucius value really make the taboo more interesting with how everyone's a prude back then, all sex related power, check)

your getting confused, murim is korean wuxia as in low fantasy setting. while xainxia is "immortal" fantasy (high fantasy, space faring planeting destorying) and its Chinese setting, things gets mixed because they have similiar concepts due to geography and that they are sometimes enemies.
