Just dropping by to say that the saves bug still seems to be a thing.

Game crashed three days into my second loop, and wouldn't start until I renamed the folder.
I have not seen the bug since using R1h update, if changing the folder name fixed it your file path might have been too long (as in, things stop working if too deep in folders due to character limit in folder path name).

Also note that the .exe on new patch has a different name so if you overwrote folder to update it, you might have opened the old .exe

how the heck- I only found her around loop 20, though that was when I didn't know anything about the game
so loop 1 i unlocked reliable and budget blue blood (along with financially independent), loop 2 i did the battle tested and research assistant (and a little bit of developer) leaving loop 3 as a sprint for tanaka.

pump all the upgrade into drive until you can't afford any more then everything into frugality, im not sure if starting with a point in confidence is worth it for loop 2 or not, i didn't for this run, put whatever is left into athletics which is almost but not quite totally worthless like the other 3 upgrades you have access to are for this run.

as for the strategy for loop 3 i didn't use vulnerable at all, as soon as i unlocked eye catching outfit i went to get generous and left that on for the rest of the game. because i had a much lower dumont relationship then lifestrider did above i got as much as 60 or 70% of the money i needed to board the plane from bartending.

I wonder... Are there any alternate texts for a scenario in which you have your first encounter with Jackal in the bar after training with Yumeno for a decent bit, like say 5 wetworks or so? Feel like it would be interesting to surprise Jackal and see him acknowledge that the MC is surprisingly skilled for what might basically be a civilian.

What strategy did you use for finding Tanaka's location? I could see a lot of focus synergizing with bartending, great strategy!

I think not right now, though there should be! Jackal is kinda amazed when you already speak the language via the country club before you find Tanaka. I really like those variants.

I took inspiration from Tiropat's Bartender strategy, and realized it's not mutually exclusive with my higher relation grinding, and produced (this week's) holy grail! We have officially beat the dev's high score!

Behold: L3 D96!

Big thanks for Tiropat for moving the ball forward when I had no ideas left. My additional contribution here is Focused stance synergizes very well with high-tier bartending, that I eventually got as high as 5x multiplier.

Is it more time efficient to stop loops at day 100 or day 150? I'm going all in on academics and charisma to get relations and attributes high for MOL.

You get a new stance after getting to Metropolis that boosts your daydream efficiency by 5x. Probably worth it for the MO. Also metropolis has some very decent stat farming actions that would only be boosted even more if you are focusing on academics and charisma.

Also, from a sheer time efficiency standpoint on auto, the cutscenes take the most time. Days 101-150 only have a single cutscene, and it's a great chance to grind stats with self destructive stance, get a 10 point achievement, and get ~50 MOL in daydreamer points via the new stance you get there.

If you have the Metropolis job (lvl 3 country club), you have access to very powerful money and charisma actions there. I don't remember if the lvl40 finance achievement is available on the public version, but lvl20 and lvl30 definitely are and you can easily get them in metropolis with academics at a decent level.

I had 227 for that run from the previous two loops.

I felt self-conscious for spamming the chat with this stuff, but I actually managed to leverage these strategies and a new record for loop 1 120 MOL, and managed to get an L2 D99 record. The dev didn't think it was possible, so it doesn't even have the "you beat my score!" comment

You are the chosen one! Is L2 D99 the limit? Or could you go even faster?

I think it's probably possible to shave off a few days by balancing relations and attribute gain in the early game. But it's pretty tight.

Getting those sweet Triumphant MoL points on loop 2 should really help with Release 2's Hall of Fame!

Getting over 105 goal points the first time you go to the nightclub leads to you getting access to DuMont's mansion without any scene to explain it. Feels a bit weird.

That's an ongoing...bug-esque thing. If you complete more than one event at the same time in a chain due to rollover, the second event doesn't play, but it does go into effect. It applies to every event.

I'm pretty sure he's aware of it and it's on the fix list.

For those of you who have the "computer goes to sleep after X minutes" setting turned on. PC going to sleep while game is autoing leads to multiple days in a row being messed up. Seems like it swaps actions from those days around. Game is also frozen when you reboot pc, so you gotta reopen it. But it saves the bugged actions into the auto records so... hopefully you remember exactly what you did for the last 5 days in game, load a save, and fix those days. Or it'll screw your entire loop.

Don't know if this is on the bug list already, but if I load a save where I have completed the first endurance training goal but not the second, it jumps to saying that all goals have been completed.
