There is always something, unless they say a specific "date" expect it to not come out that day. Plus, since they do not work hand and hand, but sending back and forth, instead of play testing right then and there, they are going to test it again for bugs. If they find any, that means it has to go back to the coder again. The cycle continues.

since i read in another comment that the dev isn't full time i can't in good faith say what i wanted to originally say, one of the longest standing still going AVNs in general and it's been awhile since last update, since this AVN is as vanilla as they come hopefully the dev decides to put it on steam and maybe it'll sell well for him to be full time someday and we see this AVN cross the finish line
