Nah, most people here on F95 don't like Daniels K games, plain and simple, been this way for all his games....

He was the first Patreon I subcribed to (even before discovering F95, which is recently), I know his work has its limits and not for everyone, but I do honestly believe he got a worse reputation than he deserves, considering the amount of total slop or unfinished stuff you can find around.

He finishes all his projects, the quality of renders has consistently gone up project to project (is not the case for everyone), sure he doesn't like harem in his games, and some have plotholes or botched endings, but I still believe he's way above the average of stuff you can find.

Are there better looking games? Absolutely
Are there more interesting/planned out stories? Absolutely
Are there better "supernatural" AVNs with better stories, better LIs , better visuals, and that have actually been completed? Nope

If I was forced to make a choice, I'd rather pick a decent game, with a plot that interests me and good/decent visual, than a game with amazing renders, generic/telenovela story, that gets reworked after 4-5 updates and then goes silent for 2 years.

I personally love how his games share some of the lore (not sure yet about this one), for example I totally wasn't expecting that Stag Cult bad ending in Nursing Back to Pleasure, it was one of the very few moments in any AVN where I actually went "oh nice!".

So far work is going according to schedule on the next Episode of Cursed Affection. There still is some work to be done on it, with the ETA being the 14th of December. This one will be on the larger side with over 350 new renders added. This Episode will be the one that ties everything together, there are going to be a lot of revelations, with most of the mystery solved.

As for the endings, there's still a lot of work to be done there, I'm working on completing the 4th but it's going somewhat slow since the main focus is Episode 16. I'll keep you posted about how it's going, about the roadmap and about what comes next. For now, all my energy and time are going into finishing this Episode and after that more endings.

A small, early teaser about what's next...

As most of you probably know, whenever a project is finished a new one starts right away. Now, there's more to go with Cursed Affection, it's not completed yet but I always want to get a head start at the new one by creating some of the characters, some of the locations and by firing off some early renders just to get a better idea and to slowly start creating the first Episode. In other words, when the final Episode of Cursed Affection is released, so is the first Episode of Crowhaven.

Crowhaven is going to be sort of a mix between Erotica and Cursed Affection, meaning that it will have more complex personal relationships and intimacy as well as a strong underlying mystery keeping you on edge and making you want to uncover more of it with each Episode. The teaser video only shows bits and pieces, there's going to be much more to the game, strong and interesting story, beautiful girls and sexy moments, plenty of choices, unlockable gallery and so on. The level of "supernatural" is going to be dialed down in Crowhaven, keeping it simpler but perhaps even more effective than Cursed Affection. Instead of witch powers, end of the world, creatures and all kind of horrors, Crowhaven will have a strong pagan witch vibe when it comes to the supernatural part of it. Curses, corruption, rituals and sexual temptation describes it better.

Right now the focus is Cursed Affection and its endings but we'll probably get a new teaser and more info early in January.

P.S. We had a poll about a year and a half ago about what game should be next and I said that we're probably going to get a Stranded with Benefits 2 after Cursed Affection. I feel like we have a really good story for Crowhaven and I'm really into the mystery genre, I'd like to keep the ball rolling and stick to it for at least one more project (Crowhaven). I also think that most of you would agree with me, so we're scrapping the plans for Stranded with Benefits 2.
