If you're looking for something that EVERYONE likes, stop playing games at all. If you look at all the other forums you will see people that dont like this and that but for some reason they keep coming back, weird huh?

Dude, this has nothing to do with real life and it's just my preference for content since I find this type of content very strange, and different from what is shown in these games, it is not recommended to have sex when the woman is in a certain month of pregnancy because this can hurt the fetus.

I've heard of some writers that start with their ending and then work their way backwards. Maybe Daniel K should consider using this method to improve his stories.

I've just finished the game and will write a full review later when time permits, but my general sentiments is the developer is writing the story and characters as they go along without any framework.

This results in a lot of inconsistencies in the characters, including MC, and logic faults with events that take place over the course of the story. The plot takes a drastic turn from Chapter 9 onwards without even a semi closure of the previous arc which just makes you question what then is the point of the whole saga from Chapters 1 - 8.

So, you are saying the story goes downhill with both plot and poorly written characters as it progresses. Hmm, isn't that the well worn path of how DK's games goes? There is a well established history of that.

I wouldn't say it goes downhill, more like it is very inconsistent (ups and downs) throughout in terms of story logic, character buildup and overall mood. It reminds me of the Story Chain game kids play where each person says a line and the next person continues the story with another line and so on so forth.

I have not played any DK games other than Cursed Affection, so I can't comment on his track record though...

What exactly do you mean? I think you missed some things by skipping through it or not paying attention. It's true that not all things are explained in an obvious manner but that's what a mistery is supposed to be,right? Actually there is a robust closure of the previous "arc" (as you said), a lot of things have become clearer while others still remain a mistery. I think that somewhere in episode 5 (might be 4 or 6) the cult people said something about never before seeing a witch so powerful, later on, the witch herself says that "things are coming" and that her power has grown and she needed to protect herself. The conclusion of Episode 9 is a normal course for the early warnings we got in previous episodes. And, not to mention, they found out who the witch was, the main "bad guy" in all the previous episodes... What more closer is there to be had?

P.S. don't mind the cabin fever guy, he's a troll that loves to jump on the hate on DK bandwagon for some reason. Yet, he always comes back for more of his games )

I've always been clear on my position on DK's games. They are objectively not good games in terms of story plots or character building. But they are just fine as a time filler between other major AVNs because of its clockwork like release reschedule, and that's why I play it.

I'm just calling a spade a spade without rose tinted glasses. And everyone, including you, is free to agree or disagree. But labeling me as a troll is at best disingenuous, or at worst blind bias fanboy-ism. Take your own pick on where you land on that broad spectrum of positions.
